Throughout 2026, the ambassadors of Norway, Denmark, and Sweden have visited Davao City to foster stronger local and international partnerships.

🇳🇴April 29: The Ambassador of Norway to the Philippines, His Excellency Christian Lyster, engaged with college students and faculty at the Holy Cross of Davao College. The session included an enriching dialogue, during which students shared insights on Norway’s involvement in the Philippines and explored ways to deepen bilateral collaboration.

🇩🇰May 13: The Ambassador of Denmark to the Philippines, His Excellency Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin, met with Mayor Baste to discuss strengthening cooperation in key sectors, including agriculture, health, and investment.

🇸🇪June 29: A Swedish delegation, led by Ambassador Annika Thunborg, met with Mayor Baste to discuss potential partnerships in transportation and investment, further strengthening the longstanding bilateral ties between Sweden and Davao City.

Today’s earthquake served as a reminder of how quickly circumstances can change and how important it is to look out for one another.

We would like to reassure all our stakeholders, clients, counterparts in Norway, as well as our family and friends that the Saga ProActive team in Davao City, Philippines is safe. The building where our office is located has already been inspected and checked.

We are closely monitoring the situation following the recent earthquake and are following all safety guidelines and advisories from local authorities.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this unfortunate event.
