We can plan the big goals… but we can’t schedule the emergencies. 💙

We know:
✔ Kids will go to college
✔ We will retire someday
✔ Balay can be budgeted

Pero ang sakit? Kabalo ta nga naa siya sa life… pero wala ta kabalo kanus-a muabot.

✨ Preparedness gives you control in things you can’t predict.

“Mahal ang insurance.”

Maybe.

Pero if we’re being honest…

MAS MAHAL jud magkasakit.

Naa koy na-notice ani, daghan sa ato murag dali kaayo moingon ug “mahal” once insurance na ang topic…

Pero if you look at the health realities around us,
the risk is not exactly getting smaller.

🚨 The Philippine Statistics Authority’s provisional 2025 data still showed the same illnesses leading the list of deaths in the country:
ischaemic heart diseases, neoplasms, cerebrovascular diseases, pneumonia, and diabetes mellitus. (PSA)

And when you really sit with that…

ma-realize nimo nga health protection isn’t just a “nice to have someday” convo.

It’s part of being financially responsible today.

And most families don’t get financially shaken by the diagnosis alone. They get shaken by everything that comes after:
labs,
hospital bills,
maintenance,
time away from work,
and the pressure of paying for recovery while life is still moving.

Mao nang the conversation is no longer:
“Mahal ba ang insurance?”

Mas helpful nga pangutana siguro is:

“If something serious happens, ready ba ko mo-cash out from savings/investment… or mas gusto nako nga naa koy giandam nga backup?”

At the end of the day, preparation doesn’t remove the health risk.

But it can reduce the financial damage that comes with it.

So YES, alaga sa lawas, regular checkups, better habits… importante kaayo na.

Pero if kaya nimo, prepare financially too,
that’s one more way of protecting the people who might end up carrying the burden with you. ✅
