THE 100-10-20-70 RULE
100% β You have to earn your 100 percent. This is the net income from your business or take home pay from your salary.
10% β You give back to the ultimate provider 10 percent of what have worked for. You tithe. Now this is not set in stone. You may or may not follow this. You can give less or you can give more. The practice of tithing is totally up to you. More on this later.
20% β Invest 20 percent of your income to investment facilities which will give you 8-12% returns.
70% β Live on 70 percent. After earning your 100 percent, giving back your 10 percent, and investing your 20 percent, you have to learn to live on the 70 percent left.
So, why not try following the Abundance Formula?
There will always be a trade-off to give up what is good, to achieve the best. All it takes is a little discipline and a lot of prayers. We can not change overnight but we can do it every single day, little by little.
βWe are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.β - Aristotle
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops. Proverbs 3:9, NIV
