📢 BIR TAX ADVISORY: eBIRForms VERSION 7.9.6.1

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued a Tax Advisory dated August 17, 2026, advising all taxpayers using the eBIRForms Offline Package to update to the latest Version 7.9.6.1.

🔔 Important Reminder:
Older versions of the eBIRForms Offline Package will eventually be discontinued and no longer supported. Version 7.9.6.0 remains operational during the transition.

To avoid possible delays or issues in the preparation and filing of tax returns, taxpayers are encouraged to:

✅ Download and install eBIRForms Version 7.9.6.1
✅ Back up your existing tax returns and related data
✅ Restore your backed-up data after installation, when applicable
✅ Ensure that the updated version is properly installed before preparing and filing returns
