Worth the Wait

“For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.” — Matthew 16:27 (NIV)

Alam mo yung nag-aaral ka nang mabuti tapos gusto mo agad makita ang grades kahit kaka-exam mo pa lang? 😅 Hindi talaga tayo mahilig maghintay.

Pero sa buhay pananampalataya, hindi lahat ng reward ay instant. May mga pagkakataong ginagawa natin ang tama, nagsisilbi tayo, nananalangin tayo, at nananatiling tapat kay Lord—pero parang walang nangyayari.

Pinaaalala ni Jesus na darating ang araw ng pagbabalik Niya, at walang kabutihang ginawa para sa Kanya ang masasayang. Ang Diyos ay hindi bulag sa iyong katapatan. Nakikita Niya ang mga sakripisyong walang nakakakita at ang mga panahong pinili mong sumunod kahit mahirap.

Kaya huwag mawalan ng gana. Ang waiting season ay hindi wasted season kapag kasama mo si Jesus. His timing is perfect, at ang Kanyang reward ay laging worth the wait.

Prayer: Lord, tulungan Ninyo akong manatiling tapat habang naghihintay. Bigyan Ninyo ako ng pusong nagtitiwala sa Inyong timing at pangako. In Jesus name, Amen!🙏

Soul Check

“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” — Matthew 16:26 (NIV)

Alam mo yung sobrang busy ka buong araw tapos pagdating ng gabi, pagod na pagod ka pero hindi mo maalala kung may ginawa ka bang talagang mahalaga? 😅 Minsan punong-puno ang schedule natin, pero walang oras para kay Lord.

Pinaaalala ni Jesus na may mas mahalaga kaysa pera, success, o achievements. Puwede kang maging successful sa mata ng mundo pero mawalan ng direction sa espirituwal na buhay. Mas mahalaga ang kaluluwa natin kaysa anumang bagay na kayang ibigay ng mundo. Kaya habang hinahabol natin ang mga pangarap natin, siguraduhin nating hindi natin iniiwan ang Diyos sa likod nito.

Ang pinakamalaking loss ay hindi ang mawalan ng bagay—kundi ang malayo kay Jesus.

Prayer: Lord, tulungan Ninyo akong bantayan ang aking puso at kaluluwa. Habang tinutupad ko ang aking mga responsibilidad at pangarap, nawa’y Kayo pa rin ang manatiling una sa aking buhay. In Jesus name, Amen! 🙏

Worth More Than Likes

“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” — Matthew 16:25 (NIV)

Alam mo yung ilang beses mong chine-check kung ilan na ang likes, views, o reactions sa post mo? 😅 Minsan parang doon na natin kinukuha ang value natin.

Pero sabi ni Jesus, ang tunay na buhay ay hindi nakukuha sa approval ng tao. Kapag inuuna natin ang sariling image, reputation, o gusto ng iba, nawawala natin ang mas mahalagang bagay—ang relasyon natin sa Kanya. Pero kapag si Jesus ang inuuna natin, doon natin natatagpuan ang tunay na identity at purpose.

Hindi mo kailangang habulin ang validation ng mundo kung alam mong tanggap ka na ni Cristo.

Prayer: Lord, tulungan Ninyo akong hanapin ang aking halaga sa Inyo at hindi sa opinyon ng ibang tao. Nawa’y mas piliin kong sundin Kayo kaysa habulin ang approval ng mundo. In Jesus name, Amen! 🙏

No Autopilot Faith

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” — Matthew 16:24 (NIV)

Alam mo yung naka-on ang GPS mo pero ayaw mo namang sundin yung directions? 😅 Minsan gusto natin ng guidance ni Lord, pero gusto pa rin nating tayo ang masunod.

Pero sabi ni Jesus, ang pagiging disciple ay hindi autopilot. Kailangan ng intentional na pagsunod. Ang pagdadala ng ating krus ay nangangahulugang pagpili sa will ng Diyos kahit mas madali ang ibang daan.

Kapag si Jesus ang sinusundan natin, hindi man laging komportable ang biyahe, siguradong tama ang direksyon.

Prayer: Lord, tulungan Ninyo akong sundin Kayo nang buong puso. Turuan Ninyo akong magtiwala sa Inyong paraan kaysa sa sarili kong plano. In Jesus name, Amen! 🙏
