The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) advises all concerned taxpayers, Revenue officials, and employees currently using the eBIRForms Offline Package to download and install the latest version, eBIRForms Offline Package Version 7.9.6.0 or 7.9.6.1.

Older versions of the eBIRForms Offline Package will be discontinued and will no longer be supported.

Taxpayers are encouraged to update at the earliest opportunity and carefully follow the procedures in the accompanying User Manual, particularly those covering the backup and restoration of previously saved tax returns and related data.

Please be informed that the previously issued advisory allowing the acceptance of manually filed tax returns is hereby revoked.

Accordingly, taxpayers are advised to wait for the availability of the eBIR Forms System before electronically filing their corresponding tax returns.

In the meantime, taxpayers with tax liabilities may settle their taxes through the available electronic payment (e-payment) channels only. However, payment of taxes due shall not dispense with the requirement to electronically file and submit the corresponding tax return once the eBIR Forms System becomes available.

Upon restoration of the eBIR Forms System, taxpayers are advised to immediately accomplish and electronically submit their respective tax returns and ensure that they receive the corresponding Tax Return Receipt Confirmation (TRRC) as proof of successful electronic filing.
Taxpayers are likewise advised to retain the TRRC and proof of payment for their records and future reference.
