The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 30-2026, extending the deadline to May 15, 2026 for the filing of 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns, payment of the corresponding taxes due thereon, and submission of required attachments.

โ€œIn line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., this extension is meant to make tax compliance easier for taxpayers at a time when many are managing added strain from the ongoing energy crisis,โ€ Commissioner Charlito Martin R. Mendoza said.

Taxpayers may file through the BIRโ€™s electronic filing platforms and pay electronically through available payment platforms, or manually through the nearest Authorized Agent Banks.

RMC No. 30-2026 โ€” The deadline for filing 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns has been extended, including the payment of corresponding taxes and the submission of required attachments.

IMPORTANT!

Please be prepared on Tax Mapping. It will be national and may start on Monday.

Ito ang dapat tandaan sa tax mapping

1) Pls check if may ID taga BIR. Dapat meron siya ID, if wala, wag bigyan ng access sa documents. And dapat naka uniform siya ng RDO (Blue shirt na may kwelyo or any that shows na taga BIR siya)

2) P**i display ang Notice to Issue Receipt at Certificate of Registration

3) Dapat updated ang mga sales invoices, ang date ng last transaction ay kahapon.Iwasan na magsulat sa duplicate, and dapat carbonized ang sulat sa duplicate.

4) Please update Cash receipts and disbursements book. If not updated, pakisabi na kakukuha lang ng Accountant para i update

5) Wag na wag magbabayad kapag sinabing urgent payment ito. Kasi ang bayaran ng penalty ay sa BIR authorized agents bank at hindi sa kanila.

This is a campaign and maaring mag conduct na sila ng tax mapping.
