HINDI EMERGENCY ANG EXPENSE NA ALAM MONG DARATING. ๐Ÿ‘€

Birthday next month? Alam mong darating.
School expenses? Alam mong darating.
Annual bills? Alam mong darating.
Christmas? Alam nating lahat na darating. ๐ŸŽ„

Kaya instead na mabigla kapag dumating ang expense, pwede mo siyang paghandaan through sinking funds.

Hindi kailangan malaki agad ang ihulog.
Kahit โ‚ฑ50, โ‚ฑ100, or โ‚ฑ200 regularly, basta consistent, unti-unting nabubuo yung fund.

Birthday? Bills? School? Christmas? Repairs?

Cancer doesnโ€™t discriminate. ๐Ÿฅน

The truth is, no one is completely exempted from the risk.

Cancer may be unpredictable. Your preparation doesnโ€™t have to be.

Protect your future while you still can.

Did you know na kung gusto mong mag-iwan ng malaking pamana sa mga anak mo, hindi mo kailangang maging mayaman? ๐Ÿค”

Tama?

Let me show you how. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ

Halimbawa, ang goal mo ay makapag-iwan ng โ‚ฑ3 MILLION na pamana sa anak mo.

Pwede mo naman itong pag-ipunan. Pero ang tanong: Gaano katagal?

Letโ€™s say kaya mong magtabi ng โ‚ฑ3,000/month:

โ‚ฑ3,000,000 target รท โ‚ฑ3,000/month = 1,000 months
Thatโ€™s equivalent to 83 YEARS! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

๐Ÿ‘€โœจ

3 MILLION life insurance coverage, subject to your age, health, plan, and approval? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Kapag approved na ang policy at active na ang coverage, may protection ka na agad ayon sa terms and conditions ng policyโ€”even if youโ€™ve only paid a limited number of premiums.

You just need to start planning early. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Please hear me out first...

I was having lunch with a former workmate yesterday. Nothing serious, just the usual, โ€œKumusta ka na?โ€ catch-up.

Then he told me about something that happened to him a few years ago.

Life was steady back then. He had a regular job, rent was paid, the kids were in school, and he even had a little savings tucked away for emergencies.

Then one day, the company announced massive layoffs.

At first, he wasnโ€™t worried. Until he found out that his name was on the list.

No warning. No time to prepare.

Within a month, his savings were gone. By the next month, the bills just kept piling up.

He tried borrowing from relatives and friends, but almost everyone told him the same thing:

โ€œIโ€™m sorryโ€ฆ things are tight for us too.โ€

And honestly, I donโ€™t blame them.

It wasnโ€™t because they didnโ€™t care. They had their own families to take care of, their own bills to pay, and their own problems to deal with.

Parang baha.

When your own house is already drowning, itโ€™s hard to expect rescue from a neighbor whose house is also sinking.

That story really stayed with me.

Because the truth is, none of us are completely safe from sudden storms.

A job can disappear.
An illness can come unexpectedly.
An accident can happen.
An emergency can drain years of savings in just a few weeks.

And when those things happen, we may not always have someone who can rescue us.

Thatโ€™s why we need to build our own lifeboat while the weather is still calm.

Get an HMO.
Get insurance.
Build an emergency fund.
Save and invest.

Not because weโ€™re expecting something bad to happen.

But because we love our family enough to prepare for the things we hope never happen.

Protect your finances while you still can.

Because sometimes, the best time to prepare for the storm is when the sky is still clear.

And thankfully, my former workmate is doing better now. He has a new job and is currently working as an OFW in Dubai.

Iโ€™m genuinely happy for him.

His story reminded me of something simple but important:

We canโ€™t always control when the storm comes. But we can do something about whether we have a lifeboat when it does.

Working my ass off because the goal isnโ€™t luxury. Itโ€™s stability.

The kind of stability whereโ€ฆ

I can afford regular checkups without brushing them off with, โ€œSayang sa pera.โ€
I can pay the bills on time.
I can buy medicine the moment I need it.
I donโ€™t have to borrow money for tuition or school projects, or scramble every enrollment season.
I can rest when I need to without feeling guilty.
I can sleep 8 hours without worrying about whether next monthโ€™s income is already covered.
I can eat spicy pancit canton with a medium-boiled egg just because Iโ€™m craving it. ๐Ÿคค
I can register for 5โ€“7 marathons or fun runs a year.
I can scroll through Shopee or TikTok Shop, check out a cart or two (maybe three ๐Ÿค”), and not feel broke afterward.

Iโ€™m not chasing an extravagant life.

I just want a life where I can afford the little joys without having to calculate the cost of every small comfort.

A quiet home.
Food on the table.
Bills paid on time.
Health taken care of.
A little room to breathe.
And peace in my head.

Thatโ€™s the kind of rich Iโ€™m working for.

Imagine this...

May ipon kang โ‚ฑ500,000 sa bank. Bigla kang tinamaan ng critical illnessโ€”heart attack, cancer, o iba pang seryosong kondisyon.

Ang insurance isn't just about paying hospital bills. It's about protecting the wealth you've worked so hard to build.

Protect your health.
Protect your savings.
Protect your dreams.

โ€œMagkano dapat ang Life Insurance Ko?โ€

Kung ikaw ang breadwinner or isa kang magulang, this is the minimum insurance coverage you need.

Letโ€™s break it down ๐Ÿ‘‡
๐Ÿ“Œ Monthly Expenses: โ‚ฑ30,000
๐Ÿ“Œ Times 12 = โ‚ฑ360,000/year
๐Ÿ“Œ Then times 10 = โ‚ฑ3.6 Million

Pero wait, bakit nga ba times 10?

โœ… Kasi kung mawala ka, your family needs at least 10 years of financial protection habang nag-a-adjust sila.
โœ… At kung i-invest nila yung โ‚ฑ3.6M into something that earns 10% per year, thatโ€™s โ‚ฑ360,000 passive income/year or exactly โ‚ฑ30,000/month.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Covered pa rin ang expenses nila.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Hindi nila kailangang baguhin bigla ang lifestyle.
๐Ÿ‘‰ May time silang maka-recover emotionally and financially.

This is not about death, itโ€™s about love and responsibility.

Make sure insured ka ng tama.

Around 7 out of 10 people buying a new iPhone or Mac insure their device from accidental damage and/or theft.

Thatโ€™s what the staff at Power Mac Center told me when I recently bought a new device there.

Yet most Filipinos still donโ€™t own a personal life insurance policy.

Many only have temporary coverage through their employerโ€”coverage that disappears when they leave their job.

According to the Insurance Commission, the Philippinesโ€™ life insurance pe*******on remains under 2%.

Many Filipinos remain uninsured or underinsured despite the financial risks families face.

Ironic, isnโ€™t it?

We rush to insure the things we can replace.

Yet we delay protecting the one thing our family can never replaceโ€”our ability to earn, our health, and our life.

If we can spend a few thousand pesos each year to protect a phone

We can at least have a conversation about protecting our families.

Makinig sa Advisor at sa kaibigan mo pareho, pero ikaw pa din magdedecide at the end of the day.

Emergency fund - start with one month muna, until mabuo mo 6-12 months worth of emergency fund mo. Prepared ka if in case maxed out HMO at hindi covered ng health insurance because thank God, hindi pa critical illness. Anything emergency.

HMO - checkups, lab tests, hospitalization, dental, annual physical exam, think smaller cases.

Health Insurance - bigger cases like heart attack, cancer, kidney failures, anything critical. Lump sum money can help cover expenses outside hospitalization like maintenance.

Ano uunahin? Dumaan ka sa planning para makapag-strategize kasi for your future and your family 'yan.

A friend recently reached out because he needed ๐Œ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐‘๐ž๐๐ž๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ˆ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž (๐Œ๐‘๐ˆ) for his housing loan.

Sabi niya, โ€œIkaw na bahala.โ€

Pero ang una kong sinabi?

โ€œKunin muna natin yung quotation ng bank.โ€

Your money deserves that kind of due diligence.

After comparing the options, we found something surprising.

His โ‚ฑ14 million MRI requirement could be covered by Sun Life, and his application was approved. More importantly, heโ€™ll be saving around โ‚ฑ17,000 every month compared to the insurance initially offered by the bank. Yes 17,000 difference!!

In many cases, you can also source it from an insurance company, as long as it meets the bankโ€™s requirements.

For me, thatโ€™s what financial advising should be.

Hindi lang tungkol sa pagbenta ng policy. Itโ€™s helping people compare their options, understand what theyโ€™re paying for, and make sure theyโ€™re getting the best value for their hard-earned money.

Sometimes, the best financial advice starts with,

And the best feeling is to inform your client..
