Went to the dentist para sana magpa-pasta. 😬

Mejo na-shookt talaga ako sa presyo. Habang naglalakad pauwi, paulit ulit ako kay hubby na "Nu ba yan, gastos nanaman?!"

After awhile, I caught myself.

Go na agad.

The here I am sa dental needs? Nagdadalawang-isip pa 😅

Siguro it's because I look at gold as something na may guaranteed return.

It's also about minimizing losses ang managing risks.

Yung "sayang" na naramdaman ko now, magiging regret pa later on.

Stop asking, "Ano ba yung best budgeting method?"

Start asking, "Ano ba yung best budgeting method PARA SA AKIN?"

Magkakaiba kasi tayo ng situation…

- I have one client who gets paid monthly.
- Another gets paid every Friday.
- Another is a freelancer na hindi alam kung magkano darating next month.

If I gave all four of them the exact same budgeting advice...

I'd be setting at least three of them up to fail. 😬

We've been programmed to think may iisang "tamang paraan" sa pagbudget.

Generic financial advice isn't wrong. It's just incomplete without context.

So kung pagod ka na kaka-DIY at trial & error sa mga budgeting templates, let me help you create a budgeting system na swak sa type ng income and spending mo.

If you've tried budgeting before and it never seems to stick, maybe the problem isn't you.
Maybe you've been following a system that wasn't built for your situation.

We have a live training inside MIP Powerhouse on how start building a budgeting system fit for your situation.

May mga not so obvious kasi na costs of debt na hindi makikita Statement of Account mo. Walang due date pero araw-araw mo siyang binabayaran.

Let me tell you what I mean.

Di mo namamalayan, you're sacrificing the the life you should be living.

Investment and learning opportunities?

Kumakain kayo out with friends, tapos sa isip mo, "kaya ko pa ba 'to?" Tumunog yung notification or nag ring yung phone mo, kabog agad ang dibdib bago mo pa mabuksan.

Sounds familiar? These are the true costs of debt. Hindi lang yung interest. Kundi yung mga parte ng buhay mo na naka-pause while you're paying off your debt.

Pero sabi ko na dati at uulitin ko: debt can happen to anyone. Hindi ito tungkol sa pagiging walang disiplina. Minsan isang emergency lang. Minsan ilang "maliliit" na decisions na biglang nag-pile up. Life happens.

Ang importante, may way naman pabalik. And it starts with realizing these 'other' costs aside from the interest. Sana maging mabigat na rason ang mga ito so you'll find the courage na gumawa ng paraan para makabangon.

If you are in debt. I hope you get to owni 100% of your choices again.

To most people, debt is just a number. But it’s actually so much more than that.

It's the version of you that keeps waiting for "someday"…

someday you'll travel, someday you'll say yes to that opportunity, someday you'll sleep through the night without your mind running through bills.

But here's the thing: you don't have to wait for "stable" to start taking your life back. 🤍

One time, I shared that my parents were able to build a few apartments for rent.

Guess what, a couple of comments blatantly pointed out na imposible daw yan mangyari for government employees nang hindi nangungur*kot.

Naalala ko lang now that both of my parents are already retired after serving for at least 37 years.

Yep, they worked for almost 4 decades. Hindi madali ang buhay pero sinikap nilang pag-aralin kaming magkakapatid and at the same time paghandaan ang retirement days nila.

Mahirap? Oo. Imposible?

I guess those who commented that underestimate the power of handling your money well, being strategic with loans and patience it takes to make your vision come to life.

There are still (a lot) people who do honest work and try their best to serve our communities.

Anyway, my parents' journey inspired me enter real estate as well. Hoping that this investment will be able to support us too in our retirement years.

Ikaw, what money lessons have you learned from your parents?

Nabubulok na ngipin? 😬

—-

Unsolicited advice from someone dealing with financial problems every single day.

Here's something I've noticed…

Marami nang tumatawag from collections.
Marital problems because of financial infidelity.

Kaya here's my advice: kapag nararamdaman mong may "ngilo" na sa finances mo, magpa-check ka agad.

Hindi mo naman kailangang magbayad ng financial professional like me to start.

I hope you do something about your finances NOW.

Scrolling through tipid tips is different from taking action.

₱500,000 monthly income

Yan ang sinulat ko when I did a wealth vision exercise back in 2016.

So for many years, I hustled HARD. Corporate job during the day, side gigs sa gabi at weekends. Gunning for that promotion, trying every raket possible, building multiple income streams kasi 'yan daw ang formula to wealth, diba?

, but in reality? I am EXHAUSTED.

Working evenings. Working weekends. Nearly underweight. Chronic headaches.

Sabi nila this is the way. Hustle hard daw pero parang may mali.

When the pandemic happened, napaisip talaga ako. May mga loved ones at friends akong nag pass away. Ako mismo nagka-COVID.

I had to ask myself: "Para saan ba talaga 'tong lahat?"

That's when I realized something that changed everything. I needed to discover what truly matters to me beyond the numbers in my bank account.

I let go of the 500k.
What did I truly want? Freedom.

- Freedom from expectations
- Freedom to do what I want, whenever and wherever
- Freedom to wake up feeling refreshed, hindi parang zombie

Hindi ko pa alam kung paano ako magiging free that time but fast forward now, I'm proud to say sa old self ko na "Congrats, kinaya mo!"

✅ Nakakapaglaro ng pickleball with Papa on a random Tuesday afternoon.
✅ Nakakapag-day off whenever I want without begging for a sick leave.
✅ Have slow mornings with my husband at kausapin ang mga halaman ko before working. 😄

A third of the individuals and couples I work with in my coaching programs earn at least ₱120,000 per month.

Kasi it's never about how big your income is. It's about ALIGNMENT. Know what you want out of this life. And most probably? It costs less than what you think.

I ask first: "What do you want out of this life?"

Ang korni, 'noh? Akala nila ine-echos ko lang sila. But that's actually the most crucial step.

Kasi kahit saan mo ilagay ang pera, if it doesn't move you closer to the life you actually want, you'll never be happy and contented.

So let me ask you today: "What do you REALLY want your life to feel like?"
