If you read my other post about tito Henry Sy, Sr (check nyo nlng ung buo), he built SM North in the midst of economic recession in 1980s.
Let's go to tito John Gokongwei Jr. naman, my former boss, owner of Robinsons Mall, Rob Land, JG Summit, Cebu Pac, URC, and many more. Now his son, tito Lance took over. In this pic is ongoing construction of Robinsons mall here in La Union in the midst of pandemic. Taking advantage of the dip, maximizing the opportunity. Because after all, w/ or w/o crisis, life goes on. People still eat, go to school, work, get sick, play, party and get on with life.
I remember also tito Many Villar. Just after the announcement of his loss in the presidential elections, he immediately called his Architect to set meeting for his infrastructure business. Move on, next agad ganon!
What I want to share here is the mindset of these people. I may share stories of these tycoons bec they are known but believe me, Ive met moooore simple, wise people and some of them are my close friends and clients, who rose above this trying times. Who started from nothing and built and grew it to something. Who, instead of whining and complaining, thought about the solution and acted on it fast.
So my advice is,. . . RIDE the WAVE! πππ
Invest in this slow paced, recovering time in PH (PSEI almost 7k again). Sabayan natin ang mga tycoons. SALE is everywhere, temptations are just a click away. First, you must invest in your knowledge. After that know where to put your money. Buy assets. Avoid liabilities.
I am just a zoominar away if you want me to help you know your options! π€ππ±π±π±
