It still amazes me how Korean Dramas incorporate important aspects of life in their story even though it is just a quick scene only.

Just like this scene in Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo wherein Bok-Joo found an insurance policy contract on his father's cabinet.

Napakaliit na detail lang nito and hindi makakaapekto sa flow ng story but the fact na isinama nila itong scene na ‘to speaks volume of how Koreans really gave importance on being protected and insured via this kind of plan.

I'm really sure that this small detail would have a huge impact sa mindset ng mga taong makakapanuod ng series na kagaya nito dahil magkakaroon din sila ng urge to have a plan like this if malalaman nila yung importance ng pagkakaroon nito.

Ako: Naiintindihan ko naman yan Sir. Especially if we are talking about your hard earned money. Pasensya ka na Sir pero let me ask you lang. Since ayaw mo pala ng risk, bakit pa kayo ng OFW? Sana Sir sa Pinas ka na lang para safe ka at ang pamilya mo.

OFW client: Kelangan ko magtrabaho. May pinag aaral pa ko. Kelangan magsakrispisyo. Sino pa ba gagawa nun?

Ako: Ayun na naman pala sir. May pinag aaral ka pa....Nagsasakripisyo ka kamo pero di mo kayang magsakrisyo ng $5 a day. Sino pa gagawa nun para sa pamilya mo?

OFW client: (nag iisip)

Ako: Sir tinanong kita kung sino gagawa nun para sa yo kung wala ka na?

OFW client: (nag iisip)

Ako: Ako na sasagot Sir. KAMI. The insurance company. Kame magpapaaral sa anak mo. Pero kelangan ko ng tiwala mo.

Yung recruiter mo nga kung ano ano pinangako sa yo, pinaniwalaan mo, tapos ako hinde? Ilang beses ka nagtiwala sa kaibigan mong nangutang pero hanggang ngayun d pa nagbabayad?

Now what I can guarantee you is, if start this, you get what we have promised you pag kelangan na ng pamilya mo. Now would you do this for your family or wag na lang?
