Alam ko ang hirap na dinaranas ng ating mga kababayan sa Cebu matapos ang 6.9 magnitude na lindol noong Setyembre 30, 2025. Kaya’t inatasan ko ang BIR na iextend ang lahat ng tax deadlines sa buwan ng Oktubre hanggang Oktubre 31, 2025 para sa mga taxpayers at Authorized Agent Banks sa Mandaue City, Cebu City North, Cebu City South, Talisay City, at Large Taxpayers Division – Cebu.

Ang extension na ito ay nagbibigay ng sapat na panahon upang makapag-comply ang ating mga kababayan nang hindi nadaragdagan ang bigat ng kanilang sitwasyon, lalo na sa panahon ng sakuna.
