Meet Aisyah Nurhuda Binti Mohd Nazri, our Manager of the Fund Accounting 2 – Tokyo Total Returns Sub-Team.

Aisyah joined Piedmont in December 2018 as an Associate Accountant in the KL team. She was promoted to Senior Associate in January 2022, Assistant Manager in April 2023, and Manager in January 2026 – showcasing her expertise and continuous learning in fund accounting.

As Manager, Aisyah is known for being supportive, proactive, and highly responsible. She manages client relationships professionally, often going the extra mile to exceed expectations. She ensures tasks are completed before taking leave, volunteers for additional work, and consistently delivers ahead of schedule without compromising quality.

Her growth is evident in her confidence to make independent decisions with minimal guidance. She also oversees KL office admin matters, is considered the team’s “big sister,” and plays a key role in the SSAE group.

Aisyah graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

Some fun facts about Aisyah: She prefers slow, relaxing vacations over packed itineraries — maybe a sign she’s enjoying a calmer pace these days. She loves singing while driving, but only when she’s alone in the car. She’s usually a morning person, though she does enjoy the occasional lazy morning.

Meet John Michael Punzalan, our Manager of the Fund Accounting 1 – New York NAV’s Sub-Team.

Michael joined Piedmont in October 2020 as an Associate Accountant of the PH team. He was promoted to Senior Associate in October 2022, advanced to Assistant Manager in July 2024, and most recently got the role of Manager in January 2026. His career progression reflects both his expertise and continuous learning in fund accounting, making him a valuable resource across our Asia offices.

As a Manager, Michael is recognized for being cooperative, proactive, and consistently supportive of his team. He ensures members are properly coached and guided, serving as both mentor and coach not only within his group but also across other teams. He leads the internal FoundCount team as FC administrator, where he demonstrates deep expertise in the FC system and reliability in resolving system related issues. Michael has built a strong reputation as the go to person for technical concerns, combining competence with genuine helpfulness. His willingness to collaborate and support others strengthens overall team performance and makes him a trusted partner across the organization.

Michael graduated from Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas.

Some fun facts about Michael: Since childhood, he loves participating at every sport and games with friends. He grew up playing almost every sport except volleyball. The one he focused on was badminton, where he competed as a varsity player from elementary through high school. Coming from a military family, he grew up in an environment that emphasized discipline, especially punctuality. He is also considered an “unexpected” child, as his mother had him at the age of 44 after experiencing menopause.

Meet Joe Marie Cejes, our Assistant Manager of Finance and Accounting Team.

JC joined Piedmont in June 2022 as an Assistant Manager, bringing with him more than nine years of experience in accounting, intercompany billing, and account reconciliation.

As an Assistant Manager, JC consistently issues invoices on time and maintains clear, effective communication with both internal teams and external clients helping to prevent delays and discrepancies. He closely monitors collections by tracking outstanding accounts and following up promptly and professionally, which supports improved efficiency and minimizes overdue balances. He also ensures payments are processed quickly, with proper recording and application. Overall, JC has proven to be a reliable and valuable contributor to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Beyond his professional contributions, JC is known for his initiative, reliability, and positive attitude, making him a trusted member across the team.

JC graduated from Daniel B. Pena Memorial College Foundation.

Some fun facts about JC: His life is kept lively, loud, and delightfully chaotic by his five golden retrievers. He enjoys tending to his small urban garden, where he grows vegetables and herbs to use fresh in everyday meals. He also enjoys drinking black coffee.

Meet Lynesus Jireh Christian Galos, our Senior Systems Administrator of IT Administration Team.

Jhaye joined Piedmont in May 2022 as the Junior Systems Administrator for the PH Team, bringing more than 9 years of experience in IT operations and administration. He was later promoted to Senior Systems Administrator in January 2023.

As Senior Systems Administrator, Jhaye consistently demonstrated initiative, reliability, and adaptability in supporting both internal systems and the Asia team. He provides timely IT assistance, troubleshooting, and practical guidance while maintaining a positive and collaborative demeanor. He has taken ownership of administrative responsibilities for FundCount, LastPass, and FreshDesk, ensuring these platforms remain stable and well managed. In addition, he supports the Leave and Medical Reimbursement applications with accuracy and independence, contributing to smoother workflows. His responsiveness, technical expertise, and ability to escalate issues effectively have made him a trusted point of contact for the Asia team.

Jhaye graduated from Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology.

Some fun facts about Jhaye: He originally dreamed of becoming a programmer, but a broken computer led him to discover his knack for IT repair. In his free time, he enjoys mobile games and surgical dramas, often likening his IT work to being a “doctor” for technology. His go to troubleshooting advice: “Have you tried restarting?” Black coffee is his ultimate mood booster – the secret fuel that transforms his “sloth mode” into “hyper squirrel mode.”
