The JPIA Miting de Avance 2026, held on July 1, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Room 301, provided an opportunity for both the MIZAN Partylist and the ASSET Partylist to present their visions, platforms, and aspirations for the future of the organization.
The program commenced with the opening remarks of the outgoing Local Chapter President, Ms. Soraimah B. Batua-an, followed by the introduction of candidates by each party's presidential candidate. Every candidate then delivered their speeches and presented their platforms.
Following each presentation, students actively participated in an open Question and Answer segment, allowing candidates to address concerns, clarify their platforms, and engage directly with the student body. The discussion encouraged transparency, accountability, and informed decision making among JPIAns.
Beyond the exchange of ideas, the event reflected the true spirit of student leadership. Although representing different partylists, the candidates demonstrated professionalism, mutual respect, and genuine camaraderie throughout the program. Friendly conversations, shared laughter, and sportsmanship served as a reminder that while they may compete during the elections, they remain united by one common purpose: to strengthen JPIA through dedicated service, continuous improvement, and student centered governance.
The program concluded with a group photo of both partylists, symbolizing that leadership is not defined by rivalry, but by a shared commitment to serving every JPIAn with integrity, excellence, and purpose.
Different platforms. One JPIA. One shared commitment to serve.
