‼️TAX REVIEW‼️

Effective January 6, 2026, Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 29-2025 increased the non-taxable thresholds for various employee de minimis benefits. These benefits are small-value rewards intended to promote employee well-being and are exempt from income tax, withholding tax on compensation, and fringe benefit tax.

‼️TAX UPDATES‼️

According to the 𝗕𝗜𝗥 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟬𝟰-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the tax abatement for qualified micro taxpayers involves a one-time payment of five thousand pesos (PHP 5,000.00)

🔵Key details regarding this abatement include:

✔️𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: It is available to micro taxpayers, defined as those with gross sales for the year of less than three million pesos (PHP 3,000,000.00)

✔️ 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲: The abatement applies to delinquent accounts, assessments (preliminary or final), and open stop-filer cases as of December 31, 2025

✔️ 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱: To qualify, the total basic tax liabilities and/or penalties arising from violations of the Tax Code must not exceed eighty thousand pesos (PHP 80,000.00) per taxable year

✔️ 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀: The PHP 5,000.00 fee must be paid within five working days from the filing of the application

✔️𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱: Qualified taxpayers can avail of these benefits until December 31, 2026, unless extended by the Secretary of Finance.
