This is God teaching us to save.
"Invest na agad yan!"
Ito yung naiisip natin kaya madalas tayo mag skip ng steps sa financial freedom.
Ito yung dahilan kung bakit gusto natin stocks agad, mutual funds agad, business agad, etc. Kahit wala pa yung tinatawag natin na base; emergency fund, insurances.
Pero ang translation lang naman ng "invest na agad yan!" ay "Kumita na tayo agad".
Minsan naiisip natin na mas mabilis kasi kung ilalagay na lang natin lahat ng kita natin sa investment.
Madalas, takot kasi tayo na baka mawala pa yung opportunity o makuha pa ng iba.
Lagi nating naiisip yung "Make the most of every opportunity" pero yung interpretation natin ng mga salitang yan ay hindi pareho sa sinasabi ni God sa atin.
Someone said, "making the most of every opportunity" does NOT mean grabbing every opportunity that comes our way.
"Making the most of every opportunity" means first making the most of what we already have before adding another opportunity to our plate.
God told us in Ecclesiastes 11:2 na may misfortune na mangyayari sa atin, that's given, hindi lang natin alam kung kailan.
So we have to prepare.
The best practical strategy for this is maghanda tayo ng damage control while we are abundant. In our case, abundance means our working or active times. Yung oras na nakakagawa tayo ng pera.
Kasi darating yung panahon na hindi na. Emergency fund, ito yung gagamitin natin sa mga short term "droughts" tulad ng pag nawalan tayo ng trabaho.
Life insurance, para sa pamilya natin kung sakaling may mangyari sa atin.
Critical illness at disability insurance para may magagamit tayo sa oras na hindi na natin kaya magtrabaho para gumawa ng pera.
At generally, mag ipon at mag invest, para sa future na hindi ka na magtatrabaho ay may resources ka pa rin.
For us to be able to make a significant amount of wealth, we also have to protect it.
There are "Calamities" that WILL come to take SOME of our resources.
There are "Calamities" that WILL come to take MOST of our resources.
There are "Calamities" that WILL come to take ALL of our resources.
We just don't know when or which will come first so it is vital to prepare.
