Sometimes, we just have to experienced it first before we realize its worth.
This was actually what happened to this friend/client of mine.
Her family experienced just recently paying a large amount of money for the hospitalization of their loved one because of critical illness. She said that it is actually on her maternal bloodline.
When she approached me, her exact words were, "bakla explain mo na nga yung programs nyo, push na natin yan, ayokong maranasan ng mga anak ko yung nararanasan namin ngayon. Kung mangyari man sa akin to, at least di sila mamroblema sa gagastusin, mabuti na mapaghandaan ko habang maaga pa."
Having said that, as financial advisor, I told her to avail as soon as possible. This is not only in preparation for sickness but this can be her "pamana" to her children if in case something unexpected happen.
