Dahil sa kaka “deserve ko to” mindset, hindi ko namalayang ubos na pala yung ilang buwan kong ipon...

Minsan hindi naman talaga tayo kinakapos.

Mabilis lang talaga maubos ang pera.

Lalo na kapag stress o pagod, at feeling mo reward sa sarili yung “Add to Cart" o "Check-out”.

Kaya tuwing sweldo, biglang may healing inner child session tayo...

- Milk tea/coffee
- Shopee/Lazada
- New shoes/gadget
- Random travel/food trip

Tapos sasabihin natin, “Deserve ko naman ito.”

Walang masama doon.

Ang problema, kapag lahat nalang “deserve mo.”

Doon nagsisimulang mawala yung future na tina-try mong buuin.

Imagine, one-day millionaire ka pagdating ng katapusan.

Tapos after ilang araw lang, back to countdown ulit sa next kinsenas.

Repeat cycle.

Habang tina-try mong i-heal at hanapin yung sarili mo, nauubos naman yung savings mo.

You have to pay yourself first.

(Of course, set aside your tithes first if that’s part of your belief.)

Income - Savings = Expenses (formula)

Gawin mo yung 50/30/20 budgeting system.

Separate your income into different uses.

Hindi ka mahirap.
Wala ka lang sistema.

Iwasan mo yung “kapag may natira” nalang saka ka mag-iipon.

Kasi kadalasan, wala talagang natitira.

At hindi natin kailangan icheck-out lahat ng nasa cart.

Huwag magpabudol.
Huwag maging emotional sa pagbili.

Yung maliliit na gastos talaga ang tahimik na umuubos ng ipon, hindi yung big purchases.

Yung araw-araw na "last nato promise”, hanggang sa hindi mo namamalayan, malaki na pala ang nawawala.

At hindi porket lumalaki ang income, dapat lumalaki rin ang lifestyle.

Mas masarap pa rin yung lifestyle na may peace of mind tayo.

Okay lang i-enjoy yung pinaghirapan.

Pero habang tumataas ang income, maganda rin kung tumataas yung ipon, investments, at financial security.

Real success is not just about looking successful.

It’s about being financially stable and secure too.
