May dalawang nagtanong sa akin kung VUL ba ang Kaiser Ultimate Health Builder.

Ang comparable ay ang rough description:

✅️ VUL is 2-in-1 life insurance + investment
✅️ Kaiser Ultimate is 3-in-1 healthcare + life insurance + investment

Specifically, ang Kaiser Ultimate ay 3-in-1 solution na:
✅️ Healthcare "if you get sick"
✅️ Life Insurance "if you die too soon"
✅️ Investment "if you live long"

Hindi comparable ang healthcare solution sa insurance solution.
Sa karamihan ng details, magkaiba sila:

1. Ang Kaiser Ultimate ay long term health care solution, na offered ng HMO company. Ang VUL ay life insurance solution na offered ng life insurance company.

2. Sa Kaiser, kapag sinabi na pay 7 years, ang ibig sabihin magbayad ng 7 years at SIGURADONG fully paid na. Sa VUL pag sinabi na pay 10 years, ang ibig sabihin, magbayad ng 10 years, at SIGURO bayad na. Maaring kailangan magbayad ng dagdag.

3. Ang Kaiser Ultimate ay may fixed contract price, at dahil maaaring maging fully-paid, nag-i-issue ng certificate of full payment. Ang VUL ay never napu-fully paid, kaya walang certificate of full payment.

4. Ang Kaiser after ma-fully pay, ay may SIGURADONG cash value hanggang hindi terminated. Ang VUL ay hindi napu-fully pay, at walang guaranteed cash value. SIGURO may cash value at maaaring maubos dahil sa insurance charges.

5. Ang Kaiser health fund ay may SIGURADONG growth na 3% to 10%, pero usually 10%. Ang VUL, walang guaranteed growth, minsan negative.

6. Sa Kaiser, SIGURADONG WALA nang fees at charges after 7 years. Ang VUL, SIGURADONG MAYROON insurance charges habambuhay.

7. Sa Kaiser, pareho lang ang bayad ng 10 year old sa 60 year old sa eligible plans. Sa VUL, mas mahal ang bayad ng 60 year old sa 0 year old. Sa 50 - 60 year old, baka mas murang life insurance ang Kaiser kaysa VUL 🙂
8. Ang Kaiser Ultimate, laging may healthcare, ang VUL usually walang healthcare.

Hindi talaga comparable ang Kaiser Ultimate at VUL.
