📚🎒 BATA BALIK ESKWELA (BBE) 2026 cm GAD Mapping Activity 🎒📚

Today, Talusan Pantawid successfully conducted the Bata Balik Eskwela (BBE) 2026 cm Gender and Development (GAD) Mapping Activity, focusing on the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Badjao Tribe beneficiaries. The activity brought together stakeholders committed to promoting accessible, inclusive, and quality education for every learner in our community.

The activity was graced by MSWDO Dhick Oswald Aguirre, who expressed his unwavering support for initiatives that empower children and families through education and social development.

An inspiring message was delivered by Engr. Jemilou Genovia, representative from the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), who emphasized the importance of collective efforts in supporting educational programs and community development. She reaffirmed the municipality's commitment to inclusivity, stating:

"Importante sa Talusan ang Badjao. No Badjao will Left Behind."

We were also honored by the presence of DepEd ALS Coordinator Juvenal Cael, who highlighted the vital role of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) in providing educational opportunities for out-of-school youth and adult learners, ensuring that education remains accessible to all.

A highlight of the activity was the inspiring testimony of Soraya Daniela P. Alvarez, a Registered Midwife from the Badjao tribe and the daughter of an active Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary Sarah Alvarez who also graduated in ALS Senior High School this school year 2025-2026. As the first degree holder from her community, she shared her journey of perseverance, determination, and success. Today, she proudly serves as one of the midwives assigned to the Municipal Health Center of Talusan. Her story serves as a powerful testament that education can transform lives, break barriers, and create opportunities for a brighter future. The Municipality of Talusan and the Pantawid Program take pride in her remarkable achievement and the inspiration she brings to the younger generation.

An overview of Bata Balik Eskwela (BBE) 2026 was presented, outlining the program's objectives, activities, and strategies aimed at ensuring school readiness, strengthening educational support systems, and promoting the welfare of learners as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

The GAD Mapping Activity further reinforced our commitment to gender-responsive and inclusive programs and services, ensuring that no child, family, or sector is left behind in accessing educational opportunities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, partners, parents, and other stakeholders whose support and dedication contributed to the success of this meaningful activity.

Isang makulay at makahulugang pagdiriwang ng pag-ibig at kultura ang ating nasaksihan sa kasalan ng ating mga kapatid na Badjao dito sa Talusan. ❤️💍

Punong-puno ng saya, tradisyon, musika, at pagkakaisa ang espesyal na araw na ito. Tunay na ipinapakita ng kulturang Badjao ang kagandahan ng pagmamahalan at pagrespeto sa pamilya at komunidad.

Congratulations sa bagong kasal! Nawa’y maging masaya, matatag, at puno ng biyaya ang inyong pagsasama. 🙏✨

Usa kini kamakahulugang selebrasyon sa gugma, kultura, ug panaghiusa diin naghiusa ang mga magtiayon gikan sa Badjao community aron opisyal nga magpakasal pinaagi sa pormal nga seremonyas nga naghatag og legal, espiritwal, ug kultural nga kahulugan sa ilang panaghiusa isip pamilya.
Gitambongan usab ang maong kalihukan sa mga opisyal ug stakeholders lakip si Congressman Atty. Marlo Bancoco, Hon. Gilbert “Bobeng” Edem, Atty. Richard D. Tabigne, Chief Statistical Specialist sa PSA–Zamboanga Sibugay, PMAJ Katalan Jeff G. Sugguiyao, Evelinda T. Conturno, Samsul J. Casalin, Ismael Buddin, nga mipakita og suporta sa maong programa.
Sumala sa LGU Talusan, tumong sa inisyatibo ang pagpalig-on sa pamilya, paghatag og importansya sa hustong civil registration, ug pagpreserba sa kultura ug tradisyon sa Badjao community sa lungsod sa Talusan.
Nagpasalamat usab ang lokal nga panggamhanan sa tanang nitambong ug mitabang sa kalampusan sa maong kalihukan nga simbolo sa inklusibong serbisyo ug padayon nga pagtagad sa tanang sektor sa katilingban.
