ATTENTION: BIR EXTENDS TAX DEADLINES TO AUGUST 18

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), through RMC No. 95-2026, has extended until August 18, 2026 the specified tax filing, payment, remittance, registration, and submission deadlines for taxpayers affected by Habagat and eBIRForms technical issues.

The extension covers obligations originally due from August 10–16, 2026, including applicable withholding tax returns, income tax returns, ONETT transactions, and other requirements specified in the Circular. Covered taxpayers may comply until August 18 without penalties.

Important: Taxpayers required to use eFPS who are not covered by RMC No. 89-2026 are not included in the extension and must continue filing and paying through eFPS.

eBIRForms System Downtime

Dear Clients,

Please be informed that the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has announced that the eBIRForms system is currently offline nationwide due to technical issues, effective August 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

System Status: Offline / Technical Downtime
Start of Downtime: August 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM
System Restoration: To be announced by the BIR

As a result, electronic submission of tax returns through the eBIRForms system is temporarily unavailable until the system is restored.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will proceed with the processing and submission of your tax returns as soon as the BIR restores the system and network connectivity.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. Rest assured that we will keep you informed of any official updates from the BIR.
