A client who got her Sun Life insurance plan through another advisor has now been transferred to my care for servicing. This change was made because her previous advisor is no longer in contact with her.

As her new advisor, my goal is to ensure a seamless transition by addressing any questions or concerns she may have, conducting a comprehensive review of her policy to check if it still aligns with her needs and goals, and providing regular updates and guidance moving forward.

Insured kami ng partner ko 💛

Habang tumatanda kami, we realize na sobrang importanteng i-discuss yung finances as a couple (kahit bf/gf pa yan). Hindi pwedeng YOLO lang lagi o di kaya “Basta mahal kita!”, pero walang “Financial Goals”. We challenge ourselves to have a healthy communication about our financial goals & other money matters.

As early as now, we got our personal insurance with investment plans kay Sun Life. The earlier, the better. Whatever happens to us, alam namin na protected kami, ang mga mahal namin sa buhay at ang income namin. Our families will not inherit debts and we’ll leave them a legacy. I know bata pa kami para magprepare, pero hindi natin masasabi ang buhay. Kung walang mangyari, tuloy tuloy lang yung investment namin lumalaki sa stock market kaysa natutulog sa bangko at natatalo ng inflation and in the long run it can be used for our major purchases like a house or maybe for building more businesses together. It can also be used as educational fund for our future kids and a millions of retirement funds. 🥰

Kaya we encourage everyone not just the other couples, single ka man sa ngayon o lalo na kung may dependents ka na to get your own insurance with investment plan too.

We can download this SUN LIFE APP for monitoring of our policy/ies.

1. Super handy since it is downloaded on our phones, we can see and review our policy/ies anytime, anywhere.

2. You can also monitor your kid’s policy/ies. Bale all the plans that you own, lahat yan ay makikita mo sa SUN LIFE APP.

3. Sa app din makikita ang last payment date at due date. Mostly, 3-5 days ang processing before magreflect sa accounts natin yung payments. This will keep you be reminded kung kailan mo need bayaran ang plan mo.

4. Pwede na din tayo dito magrequest like fund value withdrawal, file a claim, track a request, raise some concerns to Sun Life and update some details like:

✅ Change of Status (Married, etc)
✅ Update of Beneficiaries
✅ Update of Mobile Number
✅ Update of Address
✅ Update on Payments
✅ Request for 1-on-1 to review your benefits

So, para malinaw.

Owner/Insured = kapag siya ang nawala activated lahat ng benefits

Beneficiary = taga-tanggap ng benefits

So, kailangan ba na parehong si misis at mister ang insured? Yes, mas ideal. May plan si misis. May plan si mister.

Be grateful if you have a partner who’s financially literate, masinop sa pera at hindi ubos biyaya.

Minsan kokontra sila sa mga gusto mo bilhin kasi alam nilang ‘di mo pa “talaga” kailangan yung bagay na ‘yun. Concern lang siya sa’yo either baka maubos mo yung emergency fund mo o impulsive buying lang.

Sila yung partner na magaan kasama sa pagtanda dahil marunong sila sa pera. Sa ganyang partner ka mas yayaman sa buhay
