Due to the continued heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the BIR has issued Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 089-2026, providing an extension of deadlines for the filing and payment of taxes, as well as the submission of required documents, for taxpayers within the jurisdiction of BIR Revenue District Offices affected by the severe weather conditions.

🌧️ Affected taxpayers are given additional time to comply with their tax obligations.

The transitional use of the old General Information Sheet (GIS) Forms via eFAST will officially end on July 31, 2026.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘: 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗥 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗚𝗜𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reminds all corporations that in line with notice dated 30 June 2026 the transitional use of the old GIS Form via eFAST shall end on July 31, 2026, unless otherwise extended. Effective August 1, 2026, the 2020 form will no longer be accepted, and all corporations must submit their Beneficial Ownership Declaration (BOD) Page through the new HARBOR portal in compliance with SEC Memorandum Circular No. 15, Series of 2025.

Corporations are strongly advised to transition to HARBOR ahead of the deadline and monitor official SEC channels for further updates. For assistance, please contact the SEC hotline at 1-4SEC (1-4732) or submit an inquiry through the SEC iMessage Portal.
