Two years ago, I offered a close friend of mine an insurance. I thought that, for his wife and his two lovely daughters, he must have an Insurance. After explaining how insurance works and how his family would benefit from it, he was so excited to sign for one.
He was a coach in a sport he's in. Physically strong. Looking very fit and healthy. And I was glad that despite he knew he's strong, he listened to my advise.
Unfortunately, it was his wife who would intervene and would ask "kailangan ba talaga ng Insurance? Kabawasan pa yan sa ipon," every time I would invite her husband to a coffee session so I could formally interview him, identify the need, and offer a solution.
No matter how I attempted to be successful in seeing my friend, his wife would always succeed to blocking it. To cut the story short, never kaming nakapagkita ng kaibigan ko.
Days had passed. Months. Two years.
Almost recently, what we were trying to prepare for... happened. The strong and active friend of mine suddenly died of cardiac arrest... leaving his two lovely daughters and his wife asking "paano na kami?"

Client: Oo naman syempre!

Financial advisor: Mr. Client, kapag nagretire na po kyo at age 60, ok lng po ba na bibigyan kyo ng 3million pesos na retirement fund?

Client: Aba ay gusto ko syempre yon!

It is the capability of an Insurance Company to pay every single person insured. In the Philippines, Insurance Commission has required all Insurance Companies to have at least 100% and we are at 740%.

And so, Pru Life UK can be able to pay it's clients 7 times their insured amount per individual! 💪😲
