Taxpayers using the eBIRForms Offline Package are advised to update to Version 7.9.6.1 to ensure proper functionality and access to the latest enhancements. Version 7.9.6.0 remains operational.

⚠️ Please take note:
• Older versions will be discontinued and will no longer be supported.
• Back up your existing tax returns and related data before installing the new version.
• Install the new package in a separate directory to avoid overwriting your existing installation.
• Follow the eBIRForms Package Installation Guide for proper installation and transfer of previously saved data.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue has provided an extension of deadlines for the filing of tax returns, payment of corresponding taxes, and submission of required documents for taxpayers within the jurisdiction of Revenue District Offices (RDOs) affected by the continued heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.

📅 EXTENDED DEADLINE: AUGUST 17, 2026

The extension covers:
• Filing of tax returns
• Payment of corresponding taxes due
• Submission of required documents

📌 The extension applies to affected taxpayers under the jurisdiction of the concerned RDOs, subject to the provisions of RMC 89-2026.
