PHILPLANS MEMORIAL FUND/PLUS (PMF)

The PhilPlans Memorial Fund/Plus (PMF) is a pre-need memorial plan that provides a Guaranteed Memorial Service Benefit (MSB), ensuring that funds are available to cover memorial service expenses when they are needed most.

Plan Eligibility

* Acceptance Age: 18–70 years old
* With Insurance Benefits (WIB): 18–74 years old

Guaranteed Growth

The Memorial Service Benefit (MSB) increases by 3% annually, starting on the policy anniversary following the full payment of the plan.

Memorial Service Benefits

The plan includes:

✅ Retrieval of the body from the place of death
✅ Preparation of the body and provision of a casket
✅ Wake arrangements at the viewing chapel for 3–5 days
✅ Assistance in securing the necessary permits
✅ Provision of a hearse and transportation to the interment site

PMF PLUS – Immediate Cash Assistance (ICA)

For added financial support, PMF offers the Immediate Cash Assistance (ICA) Rider.

* The Planholder may add 10% to 100% of the Memorial Service Benefit (MSB).
* Upon the Planholder’s death, the ICA benefit becomes 200% of the selected ICA amount.
* The cash benefit is released to the Beneficiary within 2–3 days during the wake, helping cover immediate expenses.

Built-in Insurance Benefits

Credit Life Insurance

If the Planholder passes away during the paying period and before age 75, the remaining plan balance is considered fully paid.

Disability Benefit

If the Planholder becomes totally disabled due to illness for at least six (6) months during the paying period, the remaining installments will be fully paid.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Benefit

If the Planholder dies due to an accident during the paying period and before age 75, the Beneficiary will receive 200% of the total Pre-Need Price. In cases of dismemberment, benefits will be paid according to the Indemnity Schedule in the Plan Contract.

Term Insurance Benefit

If the Planholder dies before reaching age 75, the Beneficiary will receive 100% of the initial Memorial Service Benefit (MSB).

Additional Plan Features

✅ Assignable

The Planholder may assign the Memorial Service Benefit for use by another deceased individual.

✅ Transferable

The Planholder may transfer the ownership, rights, and privileges of the plan to another living person, provided that the assigned person is the same age as or younger than the Planholder

PMF has a rider called IMMEDIATE CASH ASSISTANCE (ICA). The Planholder can choose any amount s/he wishes to add - minimum of 10% up to a maximum of 100% of the MSB. Upon PH's death, the amount will be 200%.

• At the time of need, the ICA will be immediately released to the Beneficiary for other expenses 2-3 days during the wake.
Out-of-pocket expenses:
* Catering
* Flowers & candles
* Snacks
* Interment Fees
* and many more.

THE PMF has inherent insurance benefits.
1. CREDIT LIFE INSURANCE - If the Planholder dies during the paying period and before age 75, the balance becomes fully paid.
2. DISABILITY BENEFIT
- If the Planholder gets disabled during the paying period, and for at
least six (6) months due to illness, the installments shall be fully paid.
3.ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT - If the Planholder dies due to accident during the paying period, and before age 75, 200% of the total Pre-Need Price will be given to the Beneficiary. If the Planholder is dismembered, s/he will receive a benefit subject to the Indemnity Schedule attached to the Plan Contract.
TERM INSURANCE - If the Planholder dies before the age of 75, the Beneficiary will receive
100% of the initial MSB.

✅THE PMF is assignable.
The Planholder can assign the memorial service benefit for use by another deceased person.
✅THE PMF is transferable.
The Planholder can transfer the rights and privileges to another living person.
