Huwag kang FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) baka maubos ang pera mo.

Wag kang FOMO, Baka Maubos Pera Mo

Are you afraid of missing out on being part of special events and investment opportunities? Did you take on a particular sport, like surfing, maski hindi ka naman sporty because everyone is doing it? Did you invest in a new and promising medium, like Bitcoin, maski hindi mo sya naintindihan because so-called experts put their money there? Did you start a business venture, like milk tea, because some people have earned from them?

Ingat ka ha, baka maubos pera mo!

One of the questions that irritates me is, “Anong magandang negosyong pasukin?” I get irritated because what they are really asking is, anong negosyo ang sigurado ang kita?

Ang sagot ko, “Walang magandang negosyo, wala ring pangit. Lahat ng negosyo maganda, lahat ng negosyo pangit. Kasi ang success ng negosyo wala sa negosyo, kung hindi sa nagnenegosyo!”

Hindi porke gumaling yung kaibigan mo sa surfing gagaling ka din. Hindi porke yumaman ang isang expert sa Bitcoin yayaman ka din. Hindi porke kumita ang iba sa isang negosyo kikita ka din.

Hindi masama subukan ang mga bagay na ginagawa ng iba, para malaman mo kung para sa iyo ito or hindi. Pero do not go into it kasi FOMO ka lang, baka maubos pera mo.

I tried many different investment schemes but have realized that I am better off putting my money in my business kasi it is easier for me to make more money doon. I have tried different sports but have found that I do not have the skills for many of them and am unwilling to spend money on the others. So I stayed with golf, kasi mura mag golf sa Bukidnon, and with biking because it is easier to do. I did not invest in other businesses because it is cheaper for me to make more money if I invest in what I have already.

The Parable of the Talent tells us that God has entrusted us with possession and wealth according to our abilities, which is our unique genius. So if you want to become fruitful, focus on developing these abilities, so you can create abundance from the resources you have already.

Wag kang gagaya sa mga experts sa field nila, kasi hindi ka expert doon. Wag kang mangaya ng ibang negosyo kasi wala kang abilidad doon. Focus on your strength kasi in due time yayaman ka din.

Wag kang FOMO baka maubos pera mo.
