The rain didn’t stop⛈️ Neither did our team 💪🏻

Over the past few days, heavy rain and flooding have kept many of our people away from the office 🗄️

Work carried on anyway from living rooms, from kitchen tables, from shared desk stations where family members took turns on the same chair and the same plug point 🏠

Returns filed. Deadlines met. Clients kept in the loop 📆

To the SAPH team: Thank you 🙏 Not just for pushing through, but for how you did it, checking in on each other, covering for teammates who lost power, and keeping the standard high while working in far-from-ideal conditions 📈

To everyone affected by the floods: please stay safe 🛟Deadlines can be managed. People can’t be replaced 💛

The first thing we hand them isn’t coffee. It’s a client file 🗂️

Another round of BS Accountancy students from the University of the East and Our Lady of Fatima University walked into our office in Quezon City to start their OJT 💻

Nervous. Polite. A little unsure where to sit 🧑🏻‍💻👩‍💻👨🏻‍💻

By day three, one of them step up to prepare working paper for the income tax computation 📈

That’s the moment we look for 🚀

Because there’s a version of internship where a student spends 300 hours photocopying and comes out knowing exactly as much as they did walking in 💡

We decided years back that SAPH wouldn’t do that 🏆

So our interns sit in on the real work of tax compliance and BIR filings, financial statement preparation from trial balance to review-ready FS, assurance procedures and the working papers that carry them. They see what a deadline actually feels like. They learn that documentation isn’t a formality; it’s the whole argument 🙌🏻

They also learn that “I don’t know yet” is an acceptable answer, as long as it’s followed by finding out ✍️

None of them are CPAs yet. But in a few years, some of them will be signing off on work of their own. What they learn about standards now, how carefully we support a number, how honestly we report it, is what the profession inherits later 🤝

That’s not a small thing to be handed. We try to be worth it 📚

🏠 Buying, selling, or inheriting property? The BIR just made transfers easier.

Under Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 75-2026, the Bureau of Internal Revenue has issued a Q&A-style guide simplifying the rules for One-Time Transactions (ONETT) — covering property sales, inherited land, donations, and shares of stock.

The circular clarifies:

✅ How to apply for the ONETT Computation Sheet (OCS) and Electronic Certificate Authorizing Registration (eCAR) — both required before you can legally transfer property

✅ Which taxes apply to which transactions

✅ What documents to prepare and where to file

✅ eCAR replacement and validity rules

The goal: faster, more uniform processing across all BIR offices nationwide. Under the Ease of Paying Taxes Act, most ONETT returns must now be filed electronically, with manual filing allowed only when BIR’s online systems are down.
