Passing through the Sta. Maria–Cabagan area, home of the bridge that made national headlines earlier this year. It’s one thing to see it on the news, and another to witness the area in person while traveling through Northern Luzon.

Every road has a story, and this was one of the stops that reminded me how quickly places can become part of our country's history.

**Touchdown, Tuguegarao City!** ✈️🚌

After a 12-hour journey from Dagupan, my first stop was the **St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral**. 🙏 Before exploring the city, I took a moment to offer a prayer and give thanks for a safe trip. Every journey begins with gratitude.

Standing in the middle of Hundred Islands, surrounded by the sea, the islands, and a place of faith. 🌊🙏

Sometimes, travel is not just about seeing new places—it’s also about finding moments of peace, reflection, and gratitude along the journey.

POV: You ordered mixed seafood and suddenly your only responsibility in life was to finish everything on the table. 😭🦀🦐🐚

A few minutes of timelapse, but a lifetime of happiness. Sulit gid ang seafood feast sa Lucap!

The Philippines taking the top spot as a retirement destination is no surprise. 🇵🇭

From beautiful beaches and mountain escapes to warm hospitality and a lower cost of living, there’s a reason many people choose to spend their golden years here. Sometimes, we forget that what others are looking for, we already have right at home.

Friday night done right. 🍻✨

Good company, good music, and a well-deserved break after a busy week. Sometimes, all you need is a night out to recharge and enjoy the moment.

I did not personally know Rene Baterbonia, and to be honest, I was not even aware of his achievements while he was alive. What caught my attention were the many heartfelt posts and tributes from people who knew him, admired him, and whose lives he touched.

Out of curiosity, I searched and read more about him. What struck me most was not only his accomplishments, but the overwhelming number of people mourning his loss. It is a reminder that a person's true legacy is measured not only by awards or titles, but by the lives they inspire and the memories they leave behind.

In a way, his story feels a little closer to home for me because we share roots in Agusan del Sur. I was born at the Provincial Hospital in Prosperidad and spent my early childhood in San Francisco before our family moved elsewhere.

Rest in peace, Rene Baterbonia. Though I never had the privilege of knowing you personally, your story reached me, and the impact you made on others speaks volumes about the life you lived.

For a moment, I thought I was somewhere between Lake Garda, Lake Como, and Lugano. 🇮🇹😌

Then I looked at my table and realized it was sikwate and siomai, and the view was Lake Lahit. 😂

Not quite Europe, but I'll take it. Good food, peaceful water, and a quiet afternoon close to home aren't bad at all.

Finally found a place close to home where I can slow down, breathe, and enjoy a little peace and quiet. 🌿🌊

Sometimes, you don't need to travel far to find the kind of view that clears your mind and recharges your soul. This might just become my new favorite escape.

Grateful and thankful today. 🙏

One of the strongest earthquakes in recent memory was felt across many parts of the country. By God's grace, I am safe and sound, our staff are safe, and our home remains unharmed.

Moments like these remind us how fragile life can be and how important it is to be prepared, stay calm, and look after one another. Keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers.
