A full-circle moment. 🧡

As a proud Batang Novaleño, returning to my alma mater to give back through financial literacy education was truly an honor. Grateful for the opportunity to serve thousands of parents and faculty members and to reconnect with familiar faces.

It’s inspiring to see how much our school has grown since we graduated. Forever grateful for the place that shaped me. 🙏✨

Marami ang nagtatanong sa akin…

“May SSS naman ako. Kailangan ko pa ba ng insurance?”

Ang sagot ko lagi ay:

Hindi sila magkalaban. Magka-partner sila.

Ang SSS ay isang napakagandang benepisyo na ibinibigay ng gobyerno. Pero dahil milyon-milyon ang miyembro nito, may limitasyon ang mga benepisyong natatanggap natin.

Ang insurance naman ay paraan para madagdagan ang proteksyon at ipon ng pamilya mo.

Halimbawa:

✅ Kung magretiro ka, may matatanggap ka sa SSS.
Pero paano kung gusto mong mas komportable ang retirement mo?

✅ Kung may mangyari sa’yo, may death benefit ang SSS.
Pero sapat ba ito para sa pangangailangan ng pamilya mo?

✅ Paano kung magkasakit ka ng cancer, stroke, o heart attack?
Sa SSS, walang lump sum critical illness benefit. Sa tamang insurance plan, maaari kang magkaroon ng pondo para makapagpagamot nang hindi nauubos ang ipon ng pamilya.

Ang goal natin ay hindi palitan ang SSS.

Ang goal ay punan ang mga kakulangan nito para mas handa tayo sa anumang mangyari sa buhay.

Hindi dahil negative tayo.
Kundi dahil responsable tayo.

Mas mabuting handa kaysa magsisi. ❤️
