حکومت ‏پاکستان نے ملک بھر کے چھوٹے دکانداروں کے لئے فکسڈ ٹیکس سکیم کا اعلان کر دیا گیا ہے۔ 20 کروڑ یا اس سے کم سالانہ فروخت والے دکاندار اس سکیم کا حصہ بن سکتے ہیں جس کے تحت دکاندار اپنی آمدن پر ایک فیصد فکسڈ ٹیکس ادا کریں گے۔ دکاندار ودہولڈنگ ٹیکس بھی ایڈجسٹ کر اسکیں گے البتہ یہ شرط لاگو ہوگی کہ گوشوارہ جمع کراتے وقت کم از کم 25 ہزار روپے نقد جمع کرانے ہوں گے۔

سکیم کا حصہ بننے والے دکاندار کو ایف بی آر کی طرف سے رجسٹریشن پلیٹ ملے گی جو وہ اپنی دکان کے باہر آویزاں کرے گا۔ اس پلیٹ کی موجودگی میں کوئی ٹیکس اہلکار جانچ پڑتال کے لیے دکان میں داخل نہیں ہوسکے گا۔

The federal government has set an exchange rate of Rs. 290 per US dollar for budget planning purposes in FY2026-27.

The Finance Ministry has formally instructed ministries and divisions to use the Rs. 290 per dollar rate when preparing budget estimates, foreign loan projections, grant calculations, and development spending allocations for the upcoming fiscal year.

The assumed rate represents a depreciation of around 3.5 percent, or Rs. 10 per dollar, compared with the benchmark used for revised estimates of the current fiscal year.

The move comes even as the rupee has remained largely stable and was trading at around Rs. 278.42 against the dollar in the interbank market on Thursday.
