🚨 𝗙𝗕𝗥 collected Rs. 9,307 billion during July-March (2025-26), against a target of Rs. 9,917 billion. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗮 𝗥𝘀 𝟭𝟴𝟮 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗮𝗽. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝗽. Customs and income tax weren’t far behind. FED was the only head that hit its number.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, first from Rs 14,307 billion to Rs 13,979 billion, then again to Rs 13,450 billion. Even with that revised lower bar, FBR still needs Rs 4,672 billion in the final quarter.
