The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a new Sales Tax General Order regarding de-registration under:

๐Ÿ”น Section 21 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990
๐Ÿ”น Rule 11 of the Sales Tax Rules, 2006

๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—›๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐—น๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐˜๐˜€:

โœ… Online system now mandatory
All sales tax de-registration applications must now be submitted only through the computerized system.

๐Ÿšซ Manual applications discontinued
Commissioner-IR will no longer accept manually submitted applications.

๐Ÿ“Œ Pending manual cases
All pending manual applications are to be processed through the online portal.

This is a welcome step toward increased digitization, transparency, and procedural reform in Pakistan's tax framework.
