Parwan-e-Khanum Welfare Organization (PK-WO), in collaboration with NIC Peshawar, successfully conducted an Independence Day Celebration Event, bringing together PK-WO community to celebrate the spirit of freedom, unity, and togetherness.

The event featured insightful contributions from Madam Quratulain Mumtaz, President of Women SCCI Peshawar and CEO of Ain Consulting, and Ms. Laiba Faisal Durrani, AD Home Department and Policy Analyst. The event was also graced by the presence of Chairperson PK-WO, Madam Aysha Sethi, whose participation and encouragement added to the celebration.

Students from Ujala School also participated with a special performance, adding colour and energy to the Independence Day celebrations. PK-WO Ambassadors, team members, and Ujala School students further took part in a Mirror Clay art Workshop, exploring their creativity through hands-on clay art and celebrating the spirit of independence in an engaging way.

The celebration provided a meaningful platform for community engagement, inspiring conversations, creative expression, and youth participation, reflecting PK-WO’s commitment to bringing people together while fostering creativity, connection, and empowerment.

Mr. Niamat Ullah Khan, Deputy Chief Manager, and Mr. Tosif Hussain, Assistant Chief Manager, State Bank of Pakistan SBP BSC Peshawar, visited the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar Division (WCCIPD) and held a meeting with President WCCIPD Qurat Ul Ain

The meeting focused on exploring potential areas of collaboration, future initiatives, and opportunities that can support the business community, particularly women entrepreneurs.

President Qurat ul Ain welcomed the representatives of SBP BSC Peshawar and emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional collaboration and creating greater opportunities for women-led businesses through financial awareness, facilitation, and capacity-building initiatives.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss future plans and identify areas where WCCIPD and SBP BSC Peshawar can work together for the development and economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs.

WCCIPD appreciates SBP BSC Peshawar for engaging with the Chamber and looks forward to meaningful collaboration and joint initiatives in the future.

ڈپٹی چیف منیجر نعمت اللہ خان اور اسسٹنٹ چیف منیجر توصیف حسین، اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان بینکنگ سروسز کارپوریشن (SBP BSC) پشاور نے ویمن چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری پشاور ڈویژن (WCCIPD) کا دورہ کیا اور صدر ویمن چیمبر قرۃ العین سے ملاقات کی۔

ملاقات کے دوران باہمی تعاون کے مختلف شعبوں، مستقبل کے منصوبوں اور خواتین کاروباری شخصیات کے لیے نئے مواقع پیدا کرنے کے حوالے سے تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔

صدر قرۃ العین نے SBP BSC پشاور کے نمائندگان کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہوئے خواتین کاروباری شخصیات کے لیے مالیاتی آگاہی، سہولت کاری، استعداد کار میں اضافے اور دیگر معاون اقدامات کے ذریعے ادارہ جاتی تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔

ملاقات میں مستقبل میں WCCIPD اور SBP BSC پشاور کے درمیان مشترکہ اقدامات اور خواتین کی معاشی ترقی و خودمختاری کے لیے ممکنہ تعاون کے راستوں پر بھی گفتگو کی گئی۔

WCCIPD نے SBP BSC پشاور کی جانب سے چیمبر کے ساتھ رابطے اور تعاون کو سراہتے ہوئے مستقبل میں بامعنی مشترکہ اقدامات کی امید کا اظہار کیا۔

The Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar (WCCIP) joined the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) in celebrating Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day in a spirit of unity, patriotism, and commitment to the country’s progress.

The ceremony was led by President Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Junaid Altaf and attended by President WCCIP Qurat Ul Ain, along with WCCIP members, SCCI office-bearers, Executive Committee members, prominent business leaders, and distinguished government officials.

The event was also attended by Director Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Nauman Bashir, Deputy Director Zahid Khattak, and other respected officials and guests, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the business community and government institutions.

On the occasion, President SCCI Junaid Altaf extended Independence Day greetings and emphasized the importance of collective efforts towards strengthening Pakistan’s economy, promoting sustainable growth, and building a prosperous future.
President WCCIP Qurat ul Ain, along with WCCIP members, reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to advancing women’s economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and meaningful participation in Pakistan’s economic development.

The celebration concluded with special prayers for the security, stability, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan.

سرحد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری میں پاکستان کے 79ویں یومِ آزادی کے موقع پر جشنِ آزادی کی پروقار تقریب منعقد ہوئی، جس میں صدر ویمن چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری پشاور قراۃ العین نے ویمن چیمبر کی ممبران کے ہمراہ شرکت کی۔

تقریب کی قیادت صدر سرحد چیمبر جُنید الطاف نے کی۔ اپنے خطاب میں انہوں نے پوری قوم اور تاجر برادری کو جشنِ آزادی کی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان ہماری پہچان، ہمارا فخر اور ہماری امید ہے۔ انہوں نے ملک کی معاشی ترقی، استحکام اور خوشحالی کے لیے کاروباری برادری کے مؤثر کردار پر زور دیا۔

اس موقع پر صدر قراۃ العین اور ویمن چیمبر کی ممبران نے بھی پاکستان کی ترقی، خوشحالی اور معاشی استحکام کے لیے اپنا کردار مزید مؤثر بنانے کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔

تقریب میں سرحد چیمبر کی قیادت، ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی کے اراکین، تاجر رہنماؤں، ٹریڈ ڈیویلپمنٹ اتھارٹی آف پاکستان کے ڈائریکٹر نعمان بشیر، ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر زاہد خٹک اور دیگر معزز مہمانوں نے شرکت کی۔

تقریب کے اختتام پر پاکستان کی سلامتی، ترقی، استحکام اور خوشحالی کے لیے خصوصی دعا کی گئی۔

Mr. Zaheer Khattak, Executive Director URDO, visited the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar Division (WCCIPD) and held a meeting with President WCCIPD Qurat Ul Ain regarding the PWL Program.

During the meeting, details of the program and opportunities available for members of the business community were discussed. It was highlighted that 30% of the nominations are allocated for Chambers of Commerce, trade associations, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), providing an important opportunity for members to participate in the program.

President Qurat ul Ain encouraged WCCIPD members to take advantage of this opportunity and apply for the program, emphasizing the importance of capacity-building initiatives in enhancing women's professional and entrepreneurial development.

WCCIPD appreciates URDO for engaging with the Chamber and creating opportunities that can contribute towards the development, empowerment, and greater participation of women in economic and professional activities.

ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر URDO مسٹر ظہیر خٹک نے ویمن چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری پشاور ڈویژن (WCCIPD) کا دورہ کیا اور صدر ویمن چیمبر قرۃ العین سے ملاقات کی۔

ملاقات کے دوران PWL پروگرام اور اس میں خواتین کاروباری شخصیات کے لیے دستیاب مواقع پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر بتایا گیا کہ پروگرام کے لیے 30 فیصد نامزدگیاں چیمبرز آف کامرس، ایسوسی ایشنز اور سول سوسائٹی آرگنائزیشنز (CSOs) کے لیے مختص ہیں، جو ویمن چیمبر کے اراکین کے لیے ایک اہم موقع ہے۔

صدر قرۃ العین نے WCCIPD کی ممبران کو اس موقع سے بھرپور فائدہ اٹھانے اور پروگرام کے لیے درخواستیں جمع کرانے کی ترغیب دی، تاکہ وہ اپنی پیشہ ورانہ اور کاروباری صلاحیتوں کو مزید بہتر بنا سکیں۔

WCCIPD خواتین کی ترقی، استعداد کار میں اضافے اور کاروباری و پیشہ ورانہ مواقع تک بہتر رسائی کے لیے ایسے اقدامات کی بھرپور حوصلہ افزائی کرتا ہے۔

President Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peshawar Division Qurat Ul Ain and Vice President Zareen Akhtar attended the ceremony organized by Helping Hand for Relief and Development to mark the successful completion of a six-month vocational training program.

The program provided participants with practical training in stitching and beauty salon skills, equipping them with marketable skills and creating opportunities for self-employment and sustainable livelihoods.

During the ceremony, President SCCI Junaid Altaf distributed certificates and relevant toolkits among the participants, enabling them to put their skills into practice and begin their own income-generating activities.

President Qurat ul Ain and Vice President Zareen Akhtar appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of vocational training in promoting women’s economic empowerment, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship.

WCCIPD appreciates Helping Hand for Relief and Development for promoting skills development and creating pathways towards dignified and economically independent livelihoods.

چھ ماہ پر مشتمل اس تربیتی پروگرام کے دوران شرکاء کو **سلائی اور بیوٹی پارلر** کے شعبوں میں عملی تربیت فراہم کی گئی، تاکہ وہ اپنی مہارت کو ذریعۂ معاش میں تبدیل کرتے ہوئے باعزت اور خودمختار زندگی گزار سکیں۔

تقریب کے دوران صدر سرحد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری **جنید الطاف** نے کامیاب شرکاء میں سرٹیفکیٹس اور متعلقہ ٹول کٹس تقسیم کیں، تاکہ وہ تربیت کے بعد عملی طور پر اپنا روزگار شروع کرسکیں۔

صدر قرۃ العین اور نائب صدر زریں اختر نے ہیلپنگ ہینڈ کی جانب سے ہنرمندی کے فروغ اور خود روزگاری کے لیے کیے جانے والے اقدامات کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ عملی تربیت افراد کو معاشی طور پر خودمختار بنانے اور خصوصاً خواتین کے لیے روزگار کے نئے مواقع پیدا کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔

خواتین کی ہنرمندی، کاروباری صلاحیتوں کے فروغ اور معاشی خودمختاری کے لیے ایسے اقدامات کی بھرپور حمایت جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا اعادہ کرتا ہے۔
