ایف بی آر نے پانچ لاکھ افراد جنہوں نے انکم ٹیکس ریٹرنز فا ئیل نہیں کیں انکی موبائل سمز بند کرنے کا حکم جاری کردیا ہے۔ موبائل کمپنیز یہ تمام سمز 15میٔ 2024 تک بند کر دیں گی۔
موبائل سمز بند ہونے کے باوجود اگر انکم ٹیکس ریٹرنز فائیل نہ کی گیٔں تو ایف بی آر قانون کے مطابق مزید سخت تادیبی کارروائیاں کرے گا ۔ ایسے افراد جنہوں نےاپنی ٹیکس ریٹرن فا ٔیل نہیں کی فا ٔیل کر کے ان تمام پریشانیوں سے بچ سکتے ہیں۔ اور فایٔلر ہونے کےبے شمار فوائد حاصل کرسکتے ہیں ۔

Provinces collect Rs 230 billion in sales tax in 1HFY24

Provincial governments in Pakistan have seen a significant increase in sales tax on services, totaling Rs 230 billion in the first half of fiscal year 2023-24, a 23.43% rise from the previous year. Punjab led with Rs 101 billion, marking an 11% increase, while Sindh collected Rs 100.56 billion, showing a 35% jump. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded a 41% growth, reaching Rs 18.72 billion, and Balochistan saw a 28.8% increase, reaching Rs 9.66 billion. This surge reflects economic activity and tax compliance efforts, indicating positive economic momentum and fiscal responsibility. Continued effective tax policies and transparent fiscal management are essential for sustaining growth.
