IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST MERCIFUL
I begin with gratitude to Allah for the countless blessings we have received. Alhumdulillah, Alhumdulillah. May we always remain grateful.
Today, I wish to express thoughts that diverge from my previous ones, prompted by recent observations. I firmly believe that the faults we perceive in our country often find their roots in our own actions and choices. Our political leaders are, in many ways, a reflection of our collective character. It is possible that we, as individuals, may inadvertently contribute to corruption in our own spheres. It is a reality that corruption exists even in the most mundane aspects of our lives, from the humble vegetable vendor to those in positions of power.
The desire to seek opportunities abroad has become prevalent, driven by disillusionment with the existing systems. I would like to share a recent experience my brother had when visiting the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for verification purposes. The overwhelming rush there exemplified the exodus of educated individuals seeking to leave the country, leaving behind a dearth of individuals willing to confront the challenges.
However, I firmly believe that we have a collective responsibility to transform our nation into a better place for future generations. This transformation can only occur if we address the moral ailments that afflict our character. It is not just about leaving; it is about making a commitment to return and contribute positively. While countries like Canada, the UK, the USA, KSA, and the UAE offer opportunities, it is important to remember that earning a livelihood is not effortless anywhere. Money does not grow on trees; it requires dedication and hard work. But what sets these countries apart is their prioritization of their citizens' welfare.
I am not advocating against seeking a better future elsewhere, but rather, I am waiting for the right opportunity. Our responsibility extends beyond personal success to the betterment of our beloved homeland. Pakistan is not merely a third-world country; it has the potential to be among the world's best nations. Let us not forget the rich history and legacy of our ancestors.
In conclusion, I urge us all to nurture our country, striving to make it a place worth returning to after experiencing life abroad. Let us shoulder the responsibility of shaping a brighter future for Pakistan, and in doing so, may we continue to uphold the values and traditions of our ancestors.
I encourage everyone who reads this post to make a personal commitment to contribute even a single second of their lives for the betterment of our country. Together, we can work towards making our nation a truly beautiful place for our future generations. I understand that some may scoff at this idea and consider it impossible, but I firmly believe that, whether I am here or not, this country will endure and thrive.
The few individuals who have acted against the interests of our nation will ultimately face consequences, both from a higher power and the judgment of history. It's essential to remember that Pakistan has not lost anything; we are endowed with the blessings of Allah.
May Allah guide us on the right path as we strive to build a brighter and more prosperous future for our beloved Pakistan.
