📢 Sales Tax Update (FBR – STGO 01 of 2026)

FBR has issued Sales Tax General Order #01 of 2026 (dated 30-03-2026) regarding Electronic Sales Tax Invoicing.

✅ Key Highlights:

1️⃣ Multiple Licensed Integrators Allowed

Now registered persons can engage one or more licensed integrators for e-invoicing integration (as required).

2️⃣ 72 Hours Limit for Invoice Changes

Integrated persons can cancel / delete / edit an electronic sales tax invoice only within 72 hours of generation (in case of bonafide mistake).

3️⃣ After 72 Hours = Commissioner Approval Required

Any cancellation/editing after 72 hours will require prior approval of concerned Commissioner Inland Revenue.

📌 Effective Immediately
Stay compliant to avoid complications in sales tax reporting.
