What an evening it was! ✨
We’re still buzzing with energy from our Spring Event. Looking back at the photos, we can still feel that amazing vibe! 🍻

From the very beginning to the last song on the dance floor, the atmosphere was incredible. 💃

The “I have nowhere to wear this” dress code finally had its moment, and our employees absolutely delivered.🤠🐲

Yesterday we kicked off the Brew Your Future Mentoring Program at the HEINEKEN Kraków office! 🔥

This free 4-month program, led by IT experts from HEINEKEN Kraków, supports women who are ready to start their careers in tech and want to learn directly from experienced professionals.

The event opened with a welcome from Anna Dabrowska representing the Women Go Tech Foundation, who introduced the idea behind the program and the opportunities it creates for women entering the tech industry.
Later, Ewa Szalewska shared her perspective on mentoring and spoke about the real value that comes from the exchange between mentors and mentees.

The inauguration brought mentors and mentees together for the first time. It was a great moment of true togetherness - getting to know each other, exchanging experiences, and even working together on the first tasks.

To close the meeting, everyone took part in a networking session aimed at sparking conversations and building new connections. A bingo game about the participants helped break the ice and made getting to know each other even more enjoyable. 🤝

We can’t wait to see the results of this program and the growth that will come from it. 💚

Cheers to our success! 🎉

Last week in Warsaw, the 14th annual CEE Business Services Awards took place. This event recognises the most impactful initiatives in the business services sector in our part of Europe.

We’re pleased to announce that HEINEKEN Kraków has won the award for Top CSR Initiative - Poland for our Keep Fit challenge. 🏆

This initiative brought us all together around a simple goal: to move more. Walking, running, cycling, and many other activities - every kilometre counted. Together, we achieved an outstanding result of over 196,000 kilometres. 💪

We not only kept fit, but also made a positive impact on the environment by helping to reduce CO₂ emissions. That’s something we can all be proud of!😊

Huge thanks to everyone who created and led this initiative, and to everyone who got involved with such commitment and energy! 👏

“Customizing a product for a client is not just another delivered feature. It’s a strategic decision that carries significant consequences.”

This is how our Analytics Product Manager Chapter Lead, Dana Kowalczyk, summed up the 7th edition of Product Cafe, which she co-organized.

In our office, Product Managers, UX /UI Designers and Engineering Managers and Developers came together to talk about customization and why it is far more than just a “nice-to-have” feature.
The topic was explored from three perspectives:

🎤Piotr Opałacz spoke about losing control over complexity, product debt, and the importance of asking “why?” before jumping into “how?”.

🎤Michał Kokociński highlighted that more options don’t necessarily mean better UX, and that predictability can often deliver more value than extensive configuration.

🎤Grzegorz Swieczkowski covered the technological costs: scalability, security, and accountability within complex ecosystems - including in the context of AI.

Thank you to the Product Cafe community for the trust, engaging discussions, and the energy you brought to our office.
And huge kudos to Dana for co-creating this initiative and strengthening the product community in Kraków 👏
