🌟 A Memorable Sharing on MediaCorp 🌟

Appearing on National TV, (MediaCorp Channel 8) for the 1st time was a mix of excitement, nervousness and incredibly humbling. To share something I am so passionate about— prudent financial planning and helping others achieve their dreams—on such a meaningful platform was a moment I’ll never forget.

🌱 Joining this industry has always been a mission and passion—to raise awareness about how prudent planning can empower people I care about to achieve their dreams and goals. 💖 My hope is that, even in the smallest way, I can make a positive difference and touch lives meaningfully.

✨Being able to extend this message and awareness to a wider audience was a true honor. It reminded me why I started this journey: to help people realize their goals, safeguard their futures, and, hopefully, inspire thoughtful action along the way. ✨

💐I’m deeply thankful to the producer and media crew on Channel 8 and 8World for making this possible. The effort that went into shaping a few short minutes on air—from brainstorming to even smaller details for timing + line checks, and even ensuring every second of the live broadcast ran smoothly— was very inspiring.

It’s moments like this that bring the saying “台上三分钟，台下十年功” to life.

Achieving this milestone wasn’t just my effort—every detail was a team effort, and for that, I am honoured to have been a part of it. 💕

On a personal note, I wasn’t feeling my best that day and worried about holding it together. But I’m so glad I pushed through, stayed composed, and shared this message from the heart.❤️

One of my dreams has come true, and I couldn’t feel more thankful for this opportunity. 🙏

“When I shared my hospital stay experience on social media, some friends reached out to me and shared their unexpected diagnoses with illnesses including cancer and diabetes even at a young age.

Some expressed regret at not having made plans earlier, as they became uninsurable after a major diagnosis.

It is my hope that others and myself will find the right amount of insurance, safety nets and planning to meet their needs, as being under or over-insured can have costly outcomes.

In the end, no matter how physically active, accomplished or emotionally strong one is, nobody is invincible. “

As someone who has been through medical school and currently working as a doctor, I thought I fully understood the importance of being empathetic to those going through a hard time because of their medical conditions.
