A day of meaningful conversations, shared perspectives and planning for what comes next.

The morning was dedicated to strengthening the foundation of our team—getting to know one another beyond our roles, understanding how we can collaborate more effectively, and aligning on the culture we want to build together at GEN.

Over lunch, we took the opportunity to continue the conversations, reconnect, and strengthen the relationships that make teamwork possible.

The afternoon shifted our focus towards the future. We reflected on the first half of 2026, celebrated the progress we've made, explored opportunities for growth, mapped out personal goals for the months ahead, and introduced new initiatives to support stronger collaboration across the organisation.

Every conversation, every reflection and every shared idea is another step towards building a stronger team and an even stronger organisation.

Reflect. Reset. Rise.

Today, we brought the GEN team together for our Mid-Year Retreat 2026.

As a growing organisation, it’s easy to focus on business targets, production and performance. Those are important—but they’re only part of the story.

The other part is culture.

When people work closely together every day, familiarity grows. That’s a good thing. But if we’re not intentional, familiarity can also lead to assumptions, reduced empathy and unnecessary frustration.

That’s why this year’s retreat wasn’t just about business planning.

It was about taking time to reflect, reset, and rise together.

The morning was spent having honest conversations across advisors, operations, marketing and support teams—understanding the challenges each team faces and how we can work better together.

The afternoon shifted to business growth, reviewing the first half of the year and sharing the strategies and support systems that will help our advisors continue building sustainable practices.

A strong business starts with strong people.

Thank you to everyone for your openness, participation and willingness to invest in one another.

Always great to create opportunities for our advisers to learn directly from our partners.

Today, we welcomed the teams from Singlife and GROW for an engaging sharing session.

The Singlife team introduced their latest product offerings and shared updates on developments in the insurance space. The GROW team also presented their model portfolio solution for CPF investing, providing valuable insights into how investors can take a more structured approach to investing their CPF funds.

One of the things we value at GEN is giving our advisers direct access to our partners. Beyond learning about new solutions, these sessions provide opportunities to ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain deeper insights from the people who build and support these solutions. Those conversations help our advisers better understand the market and, ultimately, better serve their clients.
