Tarehe 27 Mei 2026, washiriki wa Semina ya Pamoja ya NBAA na BOT walipata fursa ya kutembelea Hifadhi ya Ngorongoro na kujionea uzuri wa urithi wa asili wa Tanzania. 🌍🦁

Ziara hiyo ilitoa nafasi ya kujenga mahusiano ya kitaaluma, kubadilishana uzoefu pamoja na kupumzika nje ya vikao vya semina. Aidha, ushiriki katika ziara hiyo umechangia kuongeza mapato ya Serikali kupitia sekta ya utalii na uhifadhi wa mazingira.

On 27th May 2026, participants of the NBAA & BOT Joint Seminar had an unforgettable experience exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 🌍🦁

The tour provided a unique opportunity for networking, relaxation and appreciating Tanzania’s natural heritage while strengthening professional connections beyond the seminar sessions. The visit also contributed to Government conservation and tourism funds through participation in one of the country’s globally recognized conservation destinations.

25th – 26th May 2026 | The NBAA & BOT Joint Seminar sessions held at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) featured insightful and engaging presentations from distinguished professionals and experts in accounting, finance, sustainability, governance and technology.

Presenters included CPA Angyelile Tende, Director of Standards, Research and Technical Services at NBAA; Joseph Paul Kenene, Financial Analyst (Climate Change & Environmental Sustainability); CPA Dr. Alfred Mkombo, Director of Research, Policy and Planning at CMSA; Rahmat Gideon Mandara, Accountant at the Bank of Tanzania; Hellen John Tumwesige, Accountant and Sustainability Reporting Professional at the Bank of Tanzania; Dr. Method Steven Simbachawene, Assistant Manager in the Financial Stability Department at the Bank of Tanzania; Ayubu Asumwisye Kamwela, Data Analyst & AI Product Portfolio Specialist at the Bank of Tanzania; Grayson Aron Moshi, Registration Officer at BRELA; Mecklaud Edson, Governance, Audit, Risk Management and Capital Markets Professional; and FCPA Eric Sambu, Managing Director of SGA Security Tanzania.

The sessions continued to provide a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, professional growth and meaningful discussions on sustainable finance, ESG and technology in accounting and finance. 25th May 2026 marked as day 1 of the NBAA & BOT Joint Seminar at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC), bringing together accounting, finance and business professionals under the theme “Advancing Sustainable Finance: Integrating ESG and Technology in Accounting and Finance.”

The seminar was graced by the Guest of Honour, Governor of the Bank of Tanzania, Mr. Emmanuel M. Tutuba, as participants engage in insightful discussions on the future of sustainable finance and technological transformation within the profession.
