Time for an update on the tax season. The federal tax season has extended to May 17. As of right now, the Idaho season has not extended. The Idaho legislature has shut down until April 6 because several lawmakers came down with COVID. It sounds likely that Idaho’s season will extend also, but we won’t know until then.
I encourage those of you who want help with taxes not to wait until the last minute. Once again, my contact information is 208-221-0285.

Didn't get your stimulus check. If you are eligible for one or more and didn't get it, you can get it with your tax return. Call or stop in to find out if you can get yours.

I am now open for the 2020 tax season. I look forward to seeing you this year. My hours are a little different. I am open consistently on Tuesday and Wednesday, but am available for appointments most days each week, except Sunday.

Update on my last post:
It is official that taxes are not due until July 15, 2020. As far as state taxes go, yesterday tax filing and payment for the state of Idaho are now due June 15, 2020.

I will continue to be in my office during posted hours until April 15, 2020. After that, I am thinking I will be there on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 am until noon. I will continue to be available for appointments at other times, as well. I am only 5 minutes away from my office, so call me any time to set up an appointment. I hope you don't all wait until June 15 to get your taxes done. See you soon.
