Today is a very Special Birthday for a Very Special Lady, – Debbie Chavez! She has been the beautiful brain, powerful personality, sparkling spirits, sweet smile, and loving matriarch behind our family and this family business, Abilene Bookkeeping Company. She works hard to make sure that we all have what we need. She cares deeply and passionately for her family, friends, clients and animals. We are all grateful to have her in our lives! Anyone who knows her knows that her contagious laugh is undeniable and we all hope and pray that she enjoys quite a few of those joyful moments on this special day and for so many more years to come! Tax Season Is Upon Us! W-2s and 1099s should be send out by the 31st of January. Like always EIC and Child Tax Credits will not be refunded until after February 15, unless you apply for an Easy Advance or a Refund Anticipation Loan. Unfortunately, so many of the Relief and Stimulus credits and deductions have been removed, and most of your returns will be much closer to 2018's bottom line or refund. We will be open from 9 to 6 on Grape Street this year and have limited waiting room space at both offices. Please use our new secure online portal to send us your information. Find the link on the About Us section. We look forward to a wonderful tax season and hope to hear from all of you and even see many of you this year.

October 15th is just around the corner and the extension filed in April are all coming due. So, if you haven't filed your tax return. you should start preparing to get them to a tax preparer before the final deadline of the year.
