We were joined by Josh Richter of Goldman Sachs tonight for our final seminar of 2026. Josh presented great data and information on the markets and the midterms, highlighting political and economic trends going back to the early 1800s before sharing outlooks for the post-election markets. We aim to present timely and pertinent information in these seminars, and tonight’s was no exception. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially those who asked many excellent questions. Thank you as well to D and L Country Products for another amazing meal!

We have one final event this year - our annual Christmas drop-in and toy drive. In the meantime, we are hard at work lining up good topics and presenters for the 2027 seminar series; if you’d like to join us for informative content, let us know by dropping a comment here or shooting any one of the team an e-mail. Jason and Peyton took a longer lunch today to visit the Aiken Chamber’s Trade Show at USC Aiken, hosted at the Savannah River National Laboratory Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative. Jason was able to take a behind-the-scenes tour of this incredible facility. The AMC’s Program Director, Jacqueline Brigido, was an informative guide and introduced him to amazing technology and some of the talented folks who work on-site. Thanks, Jacqueline! Afterward, we explored the show, chatted with lots of local businesspeople, and enjoyed some great food and Pelican’s SnoBalls Aiken. We are blessed to have top shelf educational options like USCA here in our community, and the partnership with one of the country’s 17 national labs further supports the university and community’s ties. Next time the AMC offers a tour, we highly recommend it!
