Did you know your accountant might also be a painter, a crocheter, and a DIY enthusiast? 🎨

It’s deadline day, and our MDA team is working diligently to make sure every extended individual and business tax return is filed accurately and on time. 😮‍💨

It’s stressful days like this that remind us that a clear head and a good laugh make for a better advisor and a better experience for every client we serve. Matt and Corey at our Albertville office have been ringleading a little tradition of kicking off each day with a random poll question to keep things light. Pulp or no pulp? MDA Professional Group is growing, and we are so excited to introduce Abigail Tillman, joining our Gadsden office as Executive Administrative Assistant!

A Birmingham native and Lincoln High School graduate, Abigail brings a strong foundation of leadership and drive to her role. Before joining MDA, she demonstrated an impressive work ethic by advancing from an entry-level position at Sam's Club to Assistant Manager by the age of 22. A love for structure, process, and being a resource for the people around her is what drew Abigail to the accounting world. Her favorite part of her role is the opportunity to support the MDA staff in a meaningful way every single day, and that approach fits right in with our Mission Driven team.

When she's not in the office, you can find Abigail curled up with a good book, enjoying a cup of coffee, staying active, or spending time with her four cats. 🐱 We are so glad to have you, Abigail. Welcome to the family!
