Our office is currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager. This position will serve as a liaison between the Partner-in-Charge, the client, and professional staff members. Applicants must have 6+ years of income tax experience and currently hold an active CPA license. Responsibilities
• Overseeing and preparing federal and state income tax returns and other related filings for their assigned clients.
• Ensuring accuracy and timely submission of those tax returns.
• Building relationships with their assigned clients and maintaining contact with them throughout the year by providing planning, consulting, and support services.
• Identifying tax-saving opportunities and assisting clients in achieving tax compliance.
• Providing clients with tools to assist them in compiling their tax information for the upcoming filing season.
• Keeping the Partner-in-Charge informed of all important developments with each client.
• Reviewing complex income tax returns prepared by other professional staff.
• Staying updated on tax law developments and communicating their impact to the Partners and professional staff.
• Researching tax issues and responding to tax notices.
• Training new tax professionals.

Job Duties Include:
• Answering and transferring phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Greeting clients while maintaining excellent communication and customer service
• Performing clerical tasks to support daily operations
• Keeping inventory and stocking office supplies
• Assisting with various duties during tax season
• Accepting credit card payments
• Supporting the team with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a busy office environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional in appearance and communication

Position Details:
• Full-time position with flexible scheduling outside of tax season
• Some overtime and occasional Saturdays required during tax season
