Today’s stop: LOUISIANA! 🦞⚜️

Over the years, I’ve developed a real fondness for Louisiana and The Big Easy! My wife, Katie, is from New Orleans and went to LSU, so I’ve had plenty of opportunities to experience what makes Louisiana special. New Orleans is a fantastic city with tremendous culture and a culinary scene that is perhaps the best in the country! And, of course, there’s fantastic SEC football! 🏈

With college and NFL football just days away, I for one can’t wait to see what this season has in store for us. Katie and I will be cheering on LSU and Tulane (along with Virginia Tech and JMU, of course! 🦃), as well as the Saints and Commanders!

Today’s stop: WEST VIRGINIA! ⛰️🌲

West Virginia is home to some of the most beautiful countryside in the country! Over the years, I’ve made plenty of trips to the Mountain State—from visiting historic Harpers Ferry and hiking portions of the Appalachian Trail 🥾 to snowy New Year’s getaways in Canaan Valley. ❄️

In recent years, I’ve also seen more and more clients expand their DC-area home searches into West Virginia. I’ve helped several buyers purchase homes in the Eastern Panhandle, along with parents purchasing homes for WVU students in Morgantown and buyers finding second homes with gorgeous mountain views near Lost River State Park.

Day 4 of my post series highlighting the 9 markets (8 states + DC) where I’m licensed to lend! 🏡

Today’s stop: NORTH CAROLINA! 🌊🏀

My whole life, I’ve been vacationing in North Carolina. Growing up, my family took annual trips to the Outer Banks, and my sister enjoyed those trips so much that she’s now called the OBX home for more than 20 years!

Beyond beach vacations, I’ve also had some pretty cool experiences in the Tar Heel State. One year, I got to watch the first weekend of March Madness in Charlotte! 🏀 But my favorite NC trip was in 2021, when I attended Ford’s Mach 1 Track Attack and got behind the wheel of a Mustang Mach 1 on Charlotte Motor Speedway! 🏎️🏁

Over my career, I’ve closed mortgages all across North Carolina—from Raleigh to Charlotte to beach communities like Surf City and the Outer Banks! 🌊
