The Kossuth County Cancer Support Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to McGregor Accounting LLC and to Brooke Nelsen for their generous contributions. Brooke’s commitment to supporting those battling cancer has been nothing short of extraordinary.

To raise funds, Brooke took on the demanding 4x4x48 endurance challenge—running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours, totaling 48 miles. This test of mental and physical toughness was only the beginning. Brooke then organized a 4 Miles 4 Cancer event in Armstrong, IA, rallying community members, sponsors, and donors to support not only KCCSF but additional organizations that assist individuals and families throughout their cancer journey.

Brooke dedicated these efforts in memory of her mother, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2019 and passed away in September 2022. In her honor, Brooke has made it her mission to live a healthy, purposeful life while lifting up others facing similar challenges.

Thank you, Brooke, for your strength, your heart, and your unwavering commitment to making a difference.
