Within a few months, founder Bob Spidell launched a newsletter, Spidell’s California Taxletter®. The California Taxletter was designed to give California tax professionals practical information they need to prepare accurate state tax returns. California, federal, and accounting tax seminars, a forms service, electronic research, and special tax reports followed, but our goal remains the same: to offer solutions to California tax problems. We are a small but successful California-based company. We are dedicated to digging into California tax issues that affect California tax professionals every day. We are in constant contact with all of California’s tax agencies: FTB, EDD, BOE, and the Secretary of State’s office. With our connections, we report on new policies that the government agencies attach to new legislation.
