Just a handful of the fun sentences that actually made it into the final edit of the book I wrote on personal finance especially for millennial women, available November 3, 2026. The number of times I cackled maniacally while writing is either a great sign for you, or a very worrying sign for me. 😅

It’s unlike any other money book I’ve ever read, and I’m damn proud of that fact. A lot of information served with a whole lot of sass. This is the kinda book I would have wanted to read.

Sometimes the answer really is to buy yourself a li’l treat.

Not everywhere all the time, but sometimes. An empowered mindset is knowing when the treat is going to hit versus when the treat is trying to fix something that it has no qualifications to fix.

I wave my magic permission wand and grant you permission to spend on the things your heart truly desires. It’s up to you to figure out what those things are.

🥊 “Don’t forget to breathe.”
🥊 “Honestly, I really don’t want to do this right now, but I know I’ll be glad I did it.” 😅
🥊 “Progress over perfection.”

And my favorite: “I need you to make the right moves for you.” Because we all have our own strengths. We all have our own weaknesses. We all have our own dreams.

Save this for when you need motivation. And send it to that friend who keeps doubting herself.

Let’s be oh so clear: I don’t want money for the money. I want it for the options.

The option to say, “haha, NO” to the job, the guy, or the life that doesn’t feel right. The confidence to know I’m covered when life throws a horrible surprise party. The option to make a change when I want to.

Being “good with money” is actually more freeing than you’d believe.

Finish this sentence for yourself: “With enough money, I’d never ask permission to ___________.”

Save this for the next time some little voice says you’re being greedy (whatever the f*ck that means). And then tell them to Venmo you.
